What To Expect
National Palace Museum
Meet your tour guide at MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, then hit the road and take a short ride to the first stop of your full day tour in Taipei: National Palace Museum, which is also one of the world’s largest museums. With a collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese artifacts and artworks, the museum showcases 8,000 years of Chinese art history spanning multiple dynasties. Two of the most famous artworks on display are “the Jadeite Cabbage” and “the Meat-Shaped Stone”, which are the must-sees in National Palace Museum.
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
Next, you will head off to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, an impressive monument in memory of the late President Chiang Kai-shek. Here the changing of the guard ceremony takes place every hour on the hour from 09:00 in the main hall.

5.00What a wonderful way to get a large picture overview of some of the notable landmarks of Taipei! I was in Taiwan for a two week Intrepid tour, but was arrived extra early as we were only staying one day in Taipei. I chose take this tour in order to see more of the city and I do not regret it one bit. Our guide was excellent, cheerful, and organized with great English. He was super organized and clear with his explanations and reallly klept our tour moving along. Edison Tours did a great job communication and providing clear directions. We made several notable stops during a very busy day, but it was particularly gratifying to visit Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and beautiful Longshan Temple.

5.00Great day, great guide. As a solo traveler it's important to me to be able to join others on a small group tour. The group was great as was the guide. It was a Sunday so every place we visited was bustling but the driver and the guide managed well. Definitely worth the price.
Not the tour to take maybe for any reason.

1.00We were looking for a tour without too much walking and it turned out to be mostly walking with small motorcycles moving us from spot to spot, no van in site much less like the picture. All my tours for years all over the place have been great with Trip Advisor, even in Manila, just not this one.

5.00Excellent tour all around. The instructions for where to meet the tour guides were very clear. The guides were waiting for us well in advance of the meeting times. The group was a mix of Mandarin and English speakers; the guide handled the translation well for both. He walked us through the National Palace Museum pointing out wonderful treasures and explaining how they were made. We had plenty of time at each spot to explore around. Great tour!!!
