During a day trip to the northeast coast of Taipei, you will have an unforgettable travel experience! A professional tour guide and a driver will take you to visit popular check-in spots.
Shifen is a town rich in culture and history which provide a nice glimpse at Taiwan's beautiful natural scenery. You can create a Chinese Lantern (天燈) with a wish written on it to release into the sky. Besides, taste Jiufen history and culture, eat local food when you stroll in the old cobblestone street.
Also, visit the natural classroom Yehliu Geopark, which shows bizarre terrain formed by thousands of years of geological movement that force the mountain jutting out of the ocean.
Please note that if the Shifen Waterfall suspension bridge is undergoing annual maintenance, an alternative route will be taken, which may require additional walking.

5.00My tour guide Mr. Lyncon was very helpful. He took very good care of our experiences. After the tour I stayed in Taiwan for a few days. Nevertheless, he still helped me with my problems about language. I felt very comfortable and would like to recommend Mr Kyncon.

5.00Weather changes quickly so pack for both sun and rain or you will have to buy an umbrella or poncho. Less crowded experience on a weekday. Jerry our guide was excellent and conducted the tour in both English and Japanese and managed 30 odd people with humour and efficiency.

4.00This was a good day tour from Taipei, hitting several important tourist sites in the area that were really interesting. It was a big tour bus with people from many countries with many languages so definitely a 'mass toruism' experience. But this tour provided efficient and low cost transport to great locations that would have taken a lot longer to go to individually. I thought there was sufficient time at each place to see what I wanted to see (you don't have to stay with the group once you arrive). One thing to note is that weather can mean that you can't always visit the geo-park -- we were fortunately able to get in, but they closed the gates shortly after our group left (and we were told that the group that went the day prior wasn't able to get in at all!!).

5.00He was very attentive to everyone’s needs in the group. Music in The Bus was very relaxing and calming. Also, I thought it was good idea too decide on the meeting time for example meeting at 11:11 for easy remembering. All in all, Jerry was an excellent Tour Guide. Very helpful for the entire tour Mahalo.

3.00note the drop off is different to the pick up, this is not clear when you book, so you need to be familiar with the MRT to get back to your hotel. trip would be better with far less time at Jiufen (crowded, unpleasant) and more time at the geopark.
