You will drive our karts through the famous Shibuya Crossing dressed up in character costume from Comics, Games or Anime. Many on-lookers will wave at you and take photos of you making you feel like a celebrity.

On our Shibuya course, you will also drive through Harajuku and Omotesando which is the origin of Japanese pop fashion.

You can come solo and join others to tour in a group of maximum 6 drivers.

Our activity is a completely guided tour by our well trained guides.

Our guides will keep you safe and make sure you have an extraordinary experience.

Our guides will take as many photos possible and give you the data at the end of your tour.

**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.

ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)

Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan

Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport

Minimum age is 18 years

Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.

**ATTENTION: If your group is more than 6 drivers, your group will split into 2 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.

You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

Such an amazing experience, honestly a 10/10. Our guide Alexis was so incredible creating a fun tour. A must do if you are visiting Tokyo it was a highlight of our trip.

You have to do this !!! Great fun and driving over the crossing was awesome. Friendly staff and safe. Highly recommend it . Just don’t forget to get your international licence

My tour with Alexis of Tokyo was amazing! So worth the money! You see all the amazing sights of Tokyo city centre! I would highly recommend at evening when it’s dark to get the best vibes of Tokyo! As a solo traveller Alexis made me feel so included and was so fun throughout the tour. He even took some amazing photos of us all throughout the experience and gave us them each at the end. Alexis was kind enough to be gift me some fun key rings at the end to take home too. The tour group gave us so much information about safety and made sure we were all comfortable with the plan before setting off which was great. It’s worth knowing you can give cash to your guide as a tip specifically however if you wish to give a tip through card payment it’s shared between the staff. Thank you Alexis and everyone!

We got to drive right through Shibuya Crossing, which felt surreal and so much fun. Our guide, Manuel, was incredible from start to finish — super friendly, helpful, and always making sure we were safe and comfortable. He also took amazing photos of us along the way, which made the whole experience even more memorable. If you’re visiting Tokyo and want something unique, exciting, and genuinely unforgettable, I can’t recommend this enough!

If you get the opportunity to do this activity - grab it. I’d never driven a kart before, let alone through city streets, so I had a few misgivings about signing on. They were soon replaced by the thrills of it all. A tutorial to start (basic road rules, and safe handling of one’s kart), then it’s follow the leader as you head out from the Shibuya headquarters, with continual guidance along the way. I had signed up for a day run and had so much fun, with no issues from other road users, that I immediately signed up for a repeat run at night. Two quite different experiences, both huge fun in their own right, and can’t recommend both enough. FWIW this was a 75th birthday present to myself - life’s short! Many thanks to my tour leaders Ryuya and Allen.
