Entertaining demonstration of sumo. Absolutely delicious chanko nabe meal with drinks. Although it was all you can eat, one serving with dessert was enough to fill you. Great for kids as well as adults. Very well organized and enjoyable 2 hours.

It was great to learn about Sumo. I would have preferred to see a bit more actual sumo wrestling. They gave people a chance to step in the ring at the end which was cool. The food wasn’t great, and not appealing, even though they said it was all you eat.

Fun experience, more like WWF than “real” sumo but educational, entertaining and engaging, front-row action and the food was pretty good too. I wouldn’t do it again but TEAM LAB is amazing!

A fun way to learn an old traditional martial art, while enjoying the food a Sumo Wrestler eats. Highly interactive 🙏

I was a solo goer! I unfortunately came 45 minutes late because of train delays, so I completely missed the geisha performance. However, even though I came late; it didn’t feel like that at all. I was completely enamoured by the sumo wrestlers and the English commentator who explained rules, tradition and more in fluent English. Time flew extremely quick as there was never a dull moment, whether it be laughs from the sumo wrestler theatrics, or awe from how strong they were even when they were playing. There was a segment where a few people are selected to challenge the sumo wrestlers to a dual, and I was one of the lucky 8! I tried my best but Asa-no-hide (the wrestler I was against), was a complete rock! I was stunned at how strong he was the entire time! This experience was one of my high points in Tokyo, and I’m glad to be a part of it!
