One of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Iyume provided all the context around how the tea ceremonies started and what each of the actions meant

So much fun. Got to live a fantasy and we're a Kimono for a day. So much fun to have someone dress you up and make Matcha tea. Even the gentlemen seemed to enjoy getting dressed up for the event. Want to do it again and bring the entire family.

A wonderful couple of hours. We visited the tea ceremony on Day 1 of our Tokyo stay. Excellent choice. Calming, stress free and a bit of history as well. I was surprised that my two boys, aged 14 & 17, also loved it. I thought I might have to force them to join in but that was not the case.

I traveled with a larger group, but we split up the experience into different timeslots. I recommend this because there is less distractions, and it feels more personalized, and you are also able to fully immerse in the ceremony. We were able to wear the kimonos all day until they closed, I met up with my group outside and we took pictures at Senso-ji temple.!

It is a very good choice to know Japanese traditions. The dress is impressive and I would repeat it without hesitation.

Amazing experience. The store is super organized, has beautiful clothes. Our match ceremony was with Mia, who explained everything to us in the smallest detail.

The experience was authentic. We learned about Cha Do and how to make and serve Matcha tea. It was fun to try out making matcha, and drinking it too. Wearing the traditional Japanese kimono, while learning about the tea ceremony made for a pleasant immersive experience. Definitely worth it.
