we are whale watching club ( we are not work with other companies )
we do our whale watching tour since 2013 . our main boat is "" Queen Whale "" It is a 60ft. length and 20ft width luxury catamaran boat with speed 13kt per hour. ( powering with Yamaha 385hp two engine units ) this boat can facilitate 150 passengers but considering your comfort and tour quality we arrange the tour only for 45 people.
** Our boat captain Manoj has more than 25 years’ of experience in sailing in the southern sea area in Sri Lanka . he is working as the boat captain for 13 years in whale watching boats.

Whale Sighting: 50%
Dolphins Sighting: 90%
Under these situation we can only do nice boat safari for you. During the tour if you are lucky you can see whales. We try our best to find them.

Honestly I want to inform you about the whale sighting situation in the Mirissa area. ** Whale sighting : 50% ** Dolphins sighting : 90% ** under these situation we can only do nice boat safari for you. During the tour if you are lucky you can see whales. We try our best to find them. *** We stop our boat mid of tour 30 minutes for sea bath (you have to bring necessary clothes for that) *** under these conditions If you would like to do the tour with us you can book now.. because time is yours and money is yours my dear.❤️ .. if find a whale, many boats chasing for one whale. But, we are following only their natural behavior and we are not disturbing the animals☺️ .. we want to see them to our passengers. We are not doing whale chasing and hunting ..But some people misunderstand about our job. some blame us that we are disturbing the whales. I'm one of nature lover and I love my job very much and I want to do it without any stress. 5.00A great trip. Saw loads of dolphins then headed out to deeper waters searching for whales. Saw a few turtles and some flying fish. It looked like we were going to miss out on whales but as we headed back we saw a couple of fin whales and tracked them for about an hour,far longer than anh other boats. Made time for a quick swim before heading in. Food was plentyful and they even made an alternatibe to cater for Amandas egg alergy.

5.00The team was extremely eager to provide us with a great experience. We were continuously fed and made aware of animals so that we could really see everything. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales that day. For over five hours we searched for whales, although the tour should have been much shorter. The team apologized to each guest over and over again in person. We were mainly happy that the tour was very animal-friendly and always kept enough distance from the animals.

5.00Very well organized, also they are animal conscious and they dont chase animals like mad people (which other boats do). We saw dolphins, turtles and one whale! Finally, the crew is very kind and they provided with food and refreshments during the whole activity!

5.00We were very happy with the tour, despite the fact that I was permanently sick. We could see dolphins and a whale. No rushing was carried out with the animals and sufficient distance was always kept. There were many snacks like fruits, plates, sandwiches and Sri Lankan flatbread. The team was very nice. We were completely satisfied and can recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00We went on this trip and loved it. One review said first out of the harbor and last to return and it's so true. After all the other boats had left we got an unforgettable close view of a blue whale. Staff were friendly and organized, you get a sandwich plus coffee and snacks. Incredible value for money.

5.00AMAZING STAFF! The crew is very friendly, well prepared and absolutely at disposal to make the most of this experience. We some many types of dolphins, unfortunately no whales but the Captain did his best to search for any sea life around the ocean. Highly recommended!!

5.00Captain Manoj is the ultimate guy for this experience. He and his team strive to make this a truly euphoric experience and not just a boat tour. Yes these guys are more expensive than the rest but offer way more than anyone else can. As Manoj famously says, "The rest do a tour of maximum 3 hours while I do it for minimum 3 hours." He's been doing this passionately for 17 years and his experience shows. He knows the instincts and the whale we saw was close to almost 30 feet from our boat. Please don't event think twice about booking with these guys. They really made this experience worthwhile.
