The Band Rotunda, a Wellington landmark since its original construction in 1938, has been closed since 2012 as it requires extensive strengthening and restoration work. Originally named by its first Polish resident Dupa as Wellington’s bottom as the area was used for processing whales and boiling blubber for oil So named after one of the earliest ships that delivered engineers and town planners from the New Zealand company that arrived after 1840

5.00I had a lovely time and I would love to experience it again in the future. It was a very productive and enjoyable trip. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in exploring and adventuring different countries for their cultures and traditions. The tour guide was highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made it memorable and meaningful for all of us. Overall it was an amazing experience and I really appreciate it.

5.00We had a fabulous tour with Aaron. He is extremely knowledgeable and full of fun facts. There were 9 of us who were traveling together so it was essentially a private tour. We visited a variety of sites and accommodated some special requests. I highly recommend this tour and Aaron.

5.00Such a great day!! Aaron , our guide, was very knowledgeable. We toured the tourist sites and some hidden local gems. Lunch at the Roxy cinema was a highlight , as was the wind turbine and fabulous views of the city. It was a fun and relaxing day. If you have limited time in Wellington, this is definitely the tour for you. I would highly recommend it!

5.00What a great tour to go on! Such amazing value for money. Our tour guide ,Aaron, was knowledgeable and extremely informative. We learnt a great deal about the history of Wellington and saw such beautiful sites along the way that only a local guide would know about. We discovered hidden gems and enjoyed a delicious lunch at a historic cinema. Wellington exceeded our expectations after this tour! You have to give it a go. You won’t be disappointed!
