Athena our guide was wonderful and made sure we saw the beauty of Wellington. We stopped at the harbor and got some photos and then headed to mt. Victoria which provided us with hilltop views of the harbor. From there we headed to weta which is a production company and has some goblin figures from the hobbit that you can get photos with which was a lot of fun. We then stopped and had a great lunch at a cafe. The calamari was delicious. After lunch we drove along the coast admiring the views. Back in town we took the cable car to the top of the hill for more scenic views and then headed to a lovely Botanical garden to see the roses. We ended the trip visiting city sights like parliament and a beautiful church. It was a full day and everyone had a great time.

I went on this tour solo during cruise ship stop in Wellington. I could not have been happier about my choice in tours. The day was amazing - filled with beautiful views, lots of education about the city and surrounding areas, and a great lunch. Gary was the best tour guide!! Thank you so much!

Our guide, Michael, was terrific. Great personality and flexible with what our group wanted to do. There was no cave, just a Lord of the Rings tourist store. The beaches and city sightsvwe great, driving to the top of the look out hill was amazing.

Great day today with Steve who took us all around the harbour of Wellington. Super viewing points for great photo opportunities of the city & Cook Straits. As a born & bred Wellington dweller it was great to hear about Wellington's history, wildlife & daily life. Although we did not stop for lunch at Chocolate Fish Restaurant we had super lunch in another local restaurant. Very delicious. Took cable car to top & walked back down through botanical gardens where Steve was waiting for us. Very accommodating and numerous guide. Thank you

A lovely way to see highlights of Wellington in a privite care with fantastic guide Athina. Athina was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of background and history of Wellington while viewing the sites. Stopped off for a wonderful cafe called Chocolate Fish and enjoyed an excellent meal which was included in the tour price. I can thoroughly recommend this short (5hrs) tour.
