After driving to the check-in point at the Upper Antelope Canyon office, meet your local guide and head to the entrance of the canyon by a shuttle. Then follow your guide through the canyon while listening to stories of culture and knowledge of the local people and the geology of the land.
Get more out of your photos with unique camera angles shared by your guide. As you stroll, learn about the formation process of the surrounding scenery. After finishing your tour, return back to the starting point.

Visitors are required to purchase Navajo permit fee directly through the official website for $15 + tax ($16.05) per person

1.00The experience itself was nice. Slightly overpriced but nonetheless worth the experience. That being said, Viator advertises in the listing that the Navajo permit fee is included in the cost of the Viator ticket. This is false advertising. As of January 1st, the Navajo nation changed their policy so that customers must pay on site the permit fee. I was charged twice for the permit but Viator did not refund me despite proof of purchase at the Antelope Canyon. I recommend looking elsewhere for the ticket.

5.00It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. The tour guide (Letisha) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with taking the most beautiful pictures we never would’ve gotten on our own. We also loved hearing about her family history and culture.

5.00The canyon is a unique and "awesome" by the non-trite definition. It's a necessarily fast-paced tour and our guide was excellent. Pointed out the best photo spots and angles; and he snapped many for us as well. It was a pricey tour but worth the cost.

5.00Incredible tour of spectacular upper antelope canyon. Tour leader Mario made sure each one of us on the tour could experience each of the fascinating sites in the upper canyon He showed us the impressive sights formed in the Canyon’s naturally carved stone while also informing us of the Navajo beliefs & history. He performed Navajo music on his flute that was an excellent way to connect us with his Navajo nation’s spiritual connections to the canyon. He worked to make sure each group within the tour were able to get pictures of the sites. Sharing knowledge while taking the time to help each one of our experiences to be special made this tour above and beyond.
Pricy, but good.

4.00Beautiful trip, stunning views. That being said, it is $125pp for a tour that is under 2 hours start to finish. It is well coordinated with multiple groups, but sometimes we felt rushed. Our guide was great and new the best spots and angles for photos. All in all, I would do it again.
