The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today.
The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

The Lower Antelope Canyon is a magnificent marvel of nature. A trip worth taking. I would give our guide a 3 on 10, 3 being the lowest.

The lower Antelope canyon tour was beautiful. I went with my mom, husband, and 3 kids (ages 2, 5, and 8). It was nice that infants were free because the tour is pretty expensive (about $100 a person) for a 1 hour tour. I would not recommend if you are heavy or claustrophobic. Some of the spaces are very narrow.

The experience was amazing. Be prepared to leave all your belongings in your car, no bags or backpacks are allowed. Not even small ones. The tour guide, named Lakota, made the experience more enjoyable. He really knows how to take the best pictures from own celular phone. Just ask him and he will set it up for you. It is about 1 hour walking and some steps thru the stairs, but you really don't feel a thing. Everything was organized and profesional. I will recommend it a 100%. The only thing that can make it less enjoyable is the rain, the cave can be flooded, but It was not our experience, it was a sunny day. 100% Awesome!!

The canyon is as amazing (if not more) in real life than it is in pictures and other reviews. Lower canyon was super fun. Our tour guide Aiden was incredibly knowledgable and friendly! And he was also incredibly tall!

It was beautiful! Definitely do it! The tour guide, Brandon, had some awesome info for us and took our family pics a couple times in great spots. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is that there are a lot of people on the tours so it felt crowded at times.
