⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best guided experiences we’ve had — Andy was phenomenal This tour was outstanding, and our guide Andy was the reason why. Right from the start, Andy took the time to get to know us — where we’re from, our background, and our previous exposure to Japanese culture and cuisine. That upfront effort showed throughout the tour. Her explanations of Tsukiji’s history, food culture, and culinary traditions were rich, engaging, and never felt scripted or rushed. Everything felt intentional and thoughtfully tailored to the group. What truly elevated the experience came at the end. During our final sushi dinner, Andy spent additional time answering our questions and sharing top-tier, personalized foodie recommendations for the rest of our trip. She didn’t just name places — she provided specific websites and review links, giving us the confidence to explore on our own. That level of care and follow-through is rare. Andy was warm, curious, and genuinely invested in her guests. This wasn’t just a food tour — it felt like being guided by a trusted local who wanted us to experience Japan well beyond the itinerary. If you’re lucky enough to get Andy as your guide, you’re in excellent hands. This tour was a highlight of our time in Tokyo.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning market tour with Akiko. Akiko was an amazing guide, sharing context for all of our planned stops and bites as well as answering any questions we had on interesting things we were seeing along the way, and giving a short origami lesson at our brief snack break out of the cold! All in all a great value for the experience and well worth booking if you're visiting Tokyo.

Great experience. As a group of Americans, Sean was the perfect guide for us due to his experience with our culture. He taught us much about the local culture in Tokyo and Japan, and he was also willing to discuss more challenging topics that most guides would avoid. Sean was very friendly and introduced us to many local businesses and community members that he appeared to have great rapport with.

Harumi was an excellent guide. She showed us how to pay our respects at multiple temples before taking us to the market. We were stuffed and love the Waygu and tuna. Highly recommend the sake tasting too!
