Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower was built by French engineer Gustave Eiffel, for the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris. This magnificent technical feat was achieved in a mere two years, two months and five days. It stands 324 metres tall, and the metal structure weighs 7,300 tonnes. Parisians were scandalised by its metallic look and height. It was built to last 20 years. A radio antenna was added to the top in 1903, saving the tower from demolition. It has now become the monument symbolic of Paris.
The American Church in Paris
The American Church in Paris with its green clock-tower was the first American Church built outside the US, in 1931. The stained-glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany have been listed as a historic monument.

A lovely relaxing experience with a beautiful bilingual host! Great way to sit back and see the main attractions with some history explained.

Guide kept my 11-year old’s attention and did a good job of narrating in two languages (French and English). Boat was comfortable and not overcrowded (probably due to the cold weather).

We missed our reservation. They informed us that our tickets are good for 30 days which was very accommodating. Also, our adult son has a disability so they priority queued our group of 5 people ahead of those already in line.

Nice cruise, even in winter. The boat was warm and the view was good. The narration on sights seen enhanced the excursion.

It can be chilly and windy on the top deck in October /November. Bring a hat! The guide was excellent. It is a delightful excursion and worth every penny. We recommend this trip and cruise line

Great cruise with friendly staff. Unique view of landmarks and the architecture of Paris. We had a great time overall. Highly recommend walking along the Seine afterward.

This was a smaller cruise which was exactly what i wanted--the docent spoke in both French and English and was fantastic! I really enjoyed all the information and seeing sights from the water and not having a huge crowd to contend with.

The boat ride was as expected. But on October 13 the guide’s English was very difficult to understand. This why only three stars.

Nice river ride and tour. You have to listen very carefully to understand the English tour guide but we enjoyed it and indulged in champagne and crepes!
