On our Secret Food Tour: Le Marais Paris, you'll enjoy a variety of classic French street foods starting with a viennoiserie/croissants, and collecting breads, then go and seat to enjoy a classic croque-monsieur in the very restaurant where Jim Morrison spent some of his time in Paris, along with discovering our mystery dish and cheese while enjoying a glass of red and white wine. Visiting Le Marais also means seeing the Jewish street of Paris and tasting some creamy Falafels. Then off to a world of sweetness for some incredible chocolates and colourful macarons, all of this crowned by a dessert to finish with style.
Our tour starts at the bustling heart of Le Marais near the famous rue de Rivoli, one of the main streets of the city. During the tour we will walk the old streets, cross the Place des Vosges and see some of the oldest medieval houses of Paris. You will realise how the locals live in this part of Paris and how the city's history influence has shaped its gastronomy.

Amazing food tour in Paris’s 4eme, Le Marais. Every stop was delicious — pastries, wine, chocolate, cheese, everything was top quality. Merci beaucoup Kevan! His knowledge, humor and unpretentiousness – it felt like being shown around by a local friend, not a "touristy" tour. My wife and I, along with a great group of people, learned a lot about the neighborhood and found spots we never would’ve discovered on our own. A definite highlight of our learnings of Paris since moving here. Looking forward to our next Paris arrondissement food tour. Highly recommend!

Come hungry! We enjoyed a beautiful lunch and a generous glass of both red & white wine, cheese samplings and delicious desserts in Le Marais. I'd definitely do it again. Mom & 22 yr old daughter, pace was relaxing, guide spoke to everyone, was pleasant and was organized. We appreciated his insight and ease of afternoon.

My grandchildren had a wonderful time this tour! Marcel was an excellent source of information and happily answered their many questions! We all loved being introduced to new foods and their histories. When we come back to Paris, we plan to take one of the other tours!

Don't eat before you do this tour! In addition to the tastings being ample and delicious we actually learned a lot about Paris. We started out with croissant at a local boulangerie, then to Les Enfants Rouges, a local market where we sampled a turkish dish with tea. We then sampled some incredibly delicious chocolate and macarons at a renowned chocolatier, a wonderful sandwich in the Jewish quarter, and a quiche sampling at a little cafe. The grand finale was a stop at a fine fromagerie where our tour guide chose three, rare unpasteurized cheeses which we sampled along with several white and red wines. An overall enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.
