Visiting World Famous Cathedral Cove from the water is a must for viewing the surrounding coastal scenery, including the amazing ignimbrite sea caves and cliffs. Please note: We do not get off the boat at Cathedral Cove.

4.00As a 60+ traveler, we were a little concerned about a bouncing boat ride. The boat was comfortable as we cruised to cathedral cove, and various caves and islands. No parking hassles or long walks. This tour was a wonderful hour!

5.00We absolutely loved our trip with Hahei Explorers and thought it was well worth the drive from our holiday accommodation in Tauranga. A highlight for us was the smaller group and boat meaning we were able to explore inside the naturally formed caves. The staff were amazing and ran a very well-organized tour. I thought the one-hour tour was an ideal length of time, it allowed us to stop for lunch on the way home and enjoy the rest of the day in the surrounding area. We felt like it wasn't rushed and you saw a lot in the area we covered. I would definitely recommend this trip to family and friends and strongly advise that the smaller boat is perfect because of the access to the caves.
