  Excellent tour with great information, time to see the property, and a nice bus ride to Exhibits. Tour guide was very articulate and did a great job of reminding us the movie segments at different parts of the tour. It was really awesome to see two homes made up like the movie set

  The guide was terrific. Was even willing to take pics of us outside and inside Hobbit homes. NEW NEW NEW ... We got to walk thru a HOBBIT's home in Hobbiton! Cool! Plenty of time to walk thru the entire town. The free beer at the Green Dragon Tavern was a plus. Absolutely enjoyed the trip and visit. Would not have missed it for the Middle Earth world !

  This was my second time visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set, and it was extra special because it was my first time seeing the new Hobbit houses. They were absolutely amazing—so beautifully detailed and immersive, it truly felt like stepping into Middle-earth all over again. A huge highlight of the visit was our guide, Noelle. Originally from the United States, she was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the place. Her storytelling, warmth, and attention to detail really brought the set to life and made the tour memorable. Thanks to her, this second visit felt just more magical than the first.

  Our guide Sam was delightful. Well organized. Family friendly. I was impressed there was a real fireplace going amongst other details. Really charming set. Drink at the Inn included is a nice touch. Would advise: 1. book your tickets early 2. lots of visitors, all scheduled, so getting there on time would be wise 3. Most of the tour is outdoors with little or no cover - be prepared for all kinds of weather. Loved it. So glad we got to experience Hobbiton

  Great view and detailed decorations Too many people in a group No time to take pictures Very rushed Too little time to enjoy the view The tour could have been 40 minutes self guided and each hobbit hole could have been supervised by a few staff (who helps with crowd control and photo taking) with audio narration.

  Outstanding set tour. It's just how you see it in the movies. In addition, you can now walk into a fully realised Hobbit Hole and have a free drink in the Green Dragon.   The walk is out in the open so make sure you are prepared. There is umbrellas provided for the sun & rain.

  Hobbiton is very much worth the time, effort and expense - our whole family loved it! We were slightly caught out as we hadn't realised how far in advance one needs to book during Dec-Mar!! We were quite very lucky to get 3 last minute tickets on Tripadvisor, and thanks to a cancellation on the day, a final ticket via the The Hobbiton Booking Centre (shout out to Lorna - she was great and more than happy to move us all onto the same time slot). As a previous event manager, I was impressed with how smooth things are run at Hobbiton - its a very well oiled machine! Our guide, John, was excellent - he was full of interesting facts, gave us all loads of time for pics, and even made sure we all got a group shot at key places. The highlight for us would have to be the interactive Hobbit homes that you have access to - absolutely amazing... we were all very charmed with the small touches & details. We also enjoyed our drinks at the The Green Dragon (I recommend the cider), accompanied by some very tasty beef & ale pies. Overall, it was an exceptional experience that’s absolutely worth doing - regardless of whether or not you are an avid LOTR & Hobbit fan!

• Excellent experience but be prepared for a lot of walking on dirt paths with slopes and steps, in all weathers.

  Excellent experience! Our guide (Olivia) was fun, friendly, and a real Hobbit enthusiast with lots of great information. We did the behind-the-scenes tour. I enjoyed the films, but am not a die-hard fan but still very much enjoyed the day. Be advised that there is a lot of walking and it is mostly on dirt/rocky trails with steps and slopes. Also, almost the whole activity is outdoors. Umbrellas are available but the tour goes ahead even in the pouring rain, so be prepared. The lunch is a very generous spread, served "family style" with the whole group (28 people in our case) sitting close together and passing dishes around.
