We did this tour over Thanksgiving break, and I can’t say enough great things about it. I went with my 14-year-old son, and we both absolutely loved it. Ryan, our tour guide, was incredible — super knowledgeable, funny, and clearly has a strong background in San Francisco history because he shared so many unique little facts and stories throughout the day. The tour lasted between four and five hours, but it truly didn’t feel that long. It was engaging from start to finish, and you definitely get your money’s worth. We tried so many foods and places that we never would have discovered on our own. I highly, highly recommend this tour — and if you can, make sure you book a time when Ryan is leading it. He made the entire experience unforgettable.

Don’t make dinner reservations. The tour is 4+ hours long and you won’t be hungry when you’re done. The guide loves the sound of his voice.

We had the best time on this food tour! It was so much more than just a food tour. We learned the history of these neighborhoods and discovered what makes them special. Isabella was our guide and she was knowledgeable, interesting, and kind. She took the time to get to know everyone in our group and pointed out things she knew we would love. Our group was small and got along well. The food was also wonderful! We visited 7 places and they served such tasty food! My favorite location was the tea shop with Uncle Gee. He was amazing! I will definitely do more of these food tours in the future and I highly recommend this one for those coming to San Francisco!
