Hello dear visitor, my name is Arnaud and will be your native Guide of this magnificent Provence. Among the 5 tours I offer, I take you today to the vineyards of the southern Côtes du Rhône, including Châteauneuf du Pape.
There are several options:
• April to October (morning): tasting of a minimum of 9 wines in 3 wineries, in Beaumes de Venise (land of Muscat, natural sweet wine), Gigondas (famous for its red) and Châteauneuf du Pape (world famous for red), with a picnic included consisting only of fresh produce from local farms.
• all year round (afternoon): same circuit in the opposite direction (Châteauneuf, Gigondas, Beaumes), without meals.
• November to March (morning): only 2 estates, in Gigondas or Beaumes, then in Châteauneuf, without meals.

The tasting will be followed by a picnic consisting only of fresh produce from local farms (April to October only, and if the tour starts in the morning). Then about 30 minutes drive to Châteauneuf du Pape.

Our driver and guide Arnoux, is a very knowledgeable wine guy who truly loves showing the sun-drenched vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape, Beaumes de Venise and Gigondas. He’s a very easy, amiable and a real people person, who travels the World whenever he gets the chance. His tour, I truly enjoyed and I would highly recommend..

Arnaud was wonderful. Lots of interesting history about the area and the wine. We got to visit three wineries including Domaine de BeauRenard Chateauneuf du Papa which uses biodynamic methods. The picnic was very special! It gave us a chance to share more stories and the selection of foods and juices Arnaud brought was tasty, fresh and local.

A nice excursion from Avignon to three different wine regions nearby. Great tasting experiences and a lovely picnic lunch with local products. Our host was very knowledgeable and congenial. I live in Sonoma County in California and have had many wine tasting experiences and I was impressed with this tour.

The Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine tour was amazing from start to finish. Arnoud our guide was from the area and is doing a job he truly loves. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and comfortable visiting the three wineries our tour. You could tell that he had a great relationship with the wineries and that they were comfortable letting him show us around some of their behind the scenes areas. His commentary fit well with their history of each winery, and our group gained a lot of knowledge about each wine and the hard work that went into its production. We had a picnic lunch provided by our guide with a selection of foods native to the area that were all delicious. Probably the best wine tour I have experienced, and that is saying a lot.

Gordana is an extraordinary guide. She is so knowledgeable about wine production and presented it with such enthusiasm! We visited three wineries and came away with an immense appreciation for the intricacies involved in bringing wine, from planting grapes to bottling and distribution, to our table. Thank you for an outstanding tour and fun tour. We highly recommend Gordana!
