This was touted as a premium wine tasting and it actually lives up to its claim. 4 great wineries with many excellent wines and commentary. Full marks! Anil was our host and he was excellent.

The guide was very personal and knowledgeable. Three of the four wineries were excellent. My only suggestion is to drop the average winery and go somewhere for a substantial lunch. Lots of wine but short on food.

Two of the wineries were lovely, two not so much. Brookfield vineyard was so noisy it was hard to hear the description of the wines. It also felt quite rushed. The second stop was Pask which was magnificent! A very large tasting room meant for 1 group, large wooden table with soft chairs, lovely charcuterie platters and the owner took the time to talk about each wine and then left us to enjoy. The timing was right on and wines were amazing - bought a few bottles! Next was Trinity. Again super noisy, couldn't hear anything being said about the wines which were good and the port was amazing! Very uncomfortable chairs and super small portions. Last was Mission. The wine and experience were magical! We got a large room to ourselves which was nice and quiet, great description of the wines by Benjamin who was knowledgeable and entertaining! The history of the winery was fantastic and the option to explore the downstairs where you could see the historical beginnings. Bought wine here as well. It might be a good idea to ask those on the tour not to wear perfume or cologne as it made me very sick and actually interfered with my ability to even smell the wines.

We had a great day with our guide Kirstie who looked after us very well & the tour ran perfectly on time. Comfortable small bus & nice small group. Very knowledgeable staff at the wineries we visited who educated us on NZ wines. Highly recommend

Our tour guide Samir was friendly and knowledgeable. She even provided a list of additional recommended activities for Napier. We enjoyed our tour with her very much. The wineries and the wines were very good. The nibbles at Pask winery were delicious although we were expecting a more substantial lunch as part of the tour. Pick up and drop off at our airbnb was much appreciated.

We had a fantastic day on the wine tour with driver Bert, who was punctual and clear about time frames and shared knowledge of the region. The fellow passengers were a neat bunch and we enjoyed getting to know them throughout the day, was lots of fun! Hawkes bay scenic tours is highly recommended - will be back to do this again!

Really great day, Bert our guide was great and managed to get us to each tasteing on time. The total group size was 24 people and was really friendly with a mix of old and young. Vineyards were really welcoming and gave great insight into each of the wines tasted. Lee at Pask was particularly good although as that was our lunch stop he did have the floor for a longer period. Lunch was cheese and Meat platter and was really good. Definitetly worth doing especially to see the size of the Mission building that was cut up and moved up the hill.
