For the beginning of this tour, dive into the heart of the oldest district of Marseille: the Panier. Aboard the sidecar, get lost in its narrow streets between small cafés, colorful street-art facades and tiny designer stores.

Then head for the Old Port where you can discover the famous fish market, stroll on the quay, watch the fishermen going out to sea and take a selfie under the Ombrière.Then, you will go along the coast passing by the unavoidable Corniche John Fitzgerald Kennedy, "the longest bank in the world", which offers an unobstructed view on the massif of Marseille as well as on the nearby islands.

Then, direction the most visited monument and the emblematic figure of the city of Marseille: the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde. The "Good Mother" offers a 360° panoramic view of the city, and you will be amazed by its architectural beauty both inside and outside.

Stop at Les Goudes, a small traditional port in a picturesque setting, surrounded by huts still housing a few fishermen and hills with remnants of World War II fortifications. Enjoy the majestic landscape and the breathtaking view of the port of Marseille.

Our sidecar tour with Eric from La Belle Echappee far exceeded our expectations. Eric was a great guide who not only took us to wonderful places in Marseille but gave us time to explore certain areas as well. It was a wonderful day, one of the highlights of our vacation.

It was an interesting and unique day in Marseilles. We appreciated the driver's unique insight. Anyone can see the sights in a bus or taxi but the experience hits differently on a motorcycle.

My husband and I took our 20+ year old granddaughters. We rode In sidecars and they rode behind drivers. It was so much fun and ttruely an adventure. We were able to see across the entire city and it was very beautiful and interesting.

We had a wonderful time with Eric. As two women in our seventies we received many incredulous glances, waves and smiles Eric made sure that we were safe at all times and stopped a few times for picture taking opportunities. The fact that Eric is a very handsome Frenchman only added to the allure. It was such a neat experience. I would definitely do it again.

Riding around Marseille with our drivers Eric & Roger was an absolutely amazing experience. As a party of four we collectively agreed that the sidecar adventure was a once in a lifetime adventure and we had a blast ! Thrilled we chose this excursion and would do it again

WOW- what a wonderful adventure for our anniversary! Beyond one ‘s control there were challenges and delays to meet. Eric and Kevin offered the Marseille tour in lieu of our planned wine tour due to time. Off we went! We opted for 2 sidecars due to my husband being a young 80. It was the right choice for him. We had visited Marseille before but it was nothing like riding a sidecar to see it again. We did go to the national Park area and its natural beauty was enjoyable. Eric and Kevin are delightful and very accommodating even stopping at cute cafe for glass of wine. They also took great photos. if I return to Marseille again I would love to do the winery tour with them. ENJOY!!

Wonderful experience. We saw sooo much of Marseille that we could not have seen any other way. The “open-air” experience was most refreshing and our guide, Eric, was most accommodating, even waiting for our delayed arrival while others in the group went ahead with the tour. We senior citizens got many stares and thumbs up as my husband rode in the side car and I in the seat behind the driver. What fun!
