We had a wonderful time with Jo! We started a little later, but Jo called beforehand to let us know. The tour was about 3 hours. It was the off season so it wasn’t that crowded. We loved the basilica and it gave an amazing view of Marseille. Don’t miss it! No one else booked so it was just my wife, myself. And my children on the tour. We were in a clean, black larger taxi. Would definitely do it again!

Directions to meeting spot were vague and because of that we missed the tour all together. We are unhappy and would like a refund.

We did this tour because we wanted to see all the highlights in Marseille without taking up the full day. Our tour guide was Djilani and he did an awesome job of showing us all the must sees while explaining all the history of each site. We had free time to walk around the main city area and at each of the sites to explore on our own after he gave us the history of each location. I definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a half day option and hit all the must sees!

Joe was excellent in his sharing of Marseille culture, food and sites. It was a limited tour related to the time period we paid for so we did not get to spend as much time in certain areas. Next time I would re-hire Joe and experience Marseille on a grander level.

This city tour exceeded all expectations. Our tour guide Joe was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city’s history and culture. The itinerary was well planned, with a perfect balance of landmarks, local insights, and hidden gems. Everything ran smoothly and on time, making the experience both relaxing and informative. I walked away with a deeper appreciation for the city and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting for the first time—or even returning visitors

I am new to this site but I have been to France many times times due to my work. I love Marseille than Paris because I am more of less crowd and more of nature and I recommend this place.

The tour was supposed to start at 12:30. We arrived 20 minutes before and waited but nobody showed up. It turned out later that the time had been changed to 10:30 but, since we had no internet on the ship, we had no way of knowing that. We never received a refund. The tour was with Domitia and booked through Viator.
