Had the best time saling on the Derwent River with Mark and his friendly crew, very informative about the history of Hobart, Birdlife, Sydney to Hobart race. Scones and Cheese Platter yummo😋 Would highly recommend

Had a wonderful 3 hour harbour cruise today! Easy booking, great signage and a friendly welcome from Dave and Lachie. Winds were helpful so despite being a local, I really enjoyed a full sailing experience. Commentary was fantastic and so were Dave's scones and jam! Highly recommended 👌

My family and I had an excellent experience. We enjoyed learning about the basics of sailing, hearing sailing anecdotes, and exploring the yacht. The opportunity to experience steering the yacht was a highlight. The crew was exceptionally friendly and provided tea, coffee, scones, and a cheese platter during the cruise. A unique and enjoyable experience.

Excellent communication and effort from Mark to get me on the water. The boat is in great condition. The guys leading the way welcomed us by doing introductions of where we were from and engaged the group as best at they could. The couples all kept to themselves which was a little odd as the lone solo traveler. Only 3 of the 7 opted to try their hand at sailing which is also odd. However, one could say that the scones/cheese moments fill in the gap of those who are not interested in controlling the boat. If you are looking to really get your hands dirty sailing you may be able to have a conversation with the owner about what would best fit your desires.

Amazing day with David as the skipper. Perfect weather and we had a wonderful time. I would recommend this to anyone. Check the forecast beforehand. We had good winds in our afternoon session which made the experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful sailing experience in Hobart with our family. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The boat had the perfect passenger capacity—not overcrowded—so it was easy to get to know everyone on board and enjoy great company. The sail itself was incredibly smooth, making it a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all ages. A real highlight was when the skipper invited us to steer the wheel and took the time to explain, in great detail, what to monitor and look out for while steering. It was such a memorable and hands-on experience. The food was another standout—the scones and cheese platter were absolutely scrumptious and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Throughout the trip, the skipper and crew shared interesting information and fun facts about Hobart, which added so much value to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip and would definitely recommend this sailing experience to anyone visiting Hobart. It’s a must-do!

Great way to experience a bit of sailing, crew were super friendly and excellent. Very informative too, and everyone who wants gets a turn at the wheel. I’m prone to seasickness but it was fine as the sailing is in a bay so waves don’t get big, but still good for sailing. Highly recommend.

We recently had the most incredible 3-hour sailing experience in Hobart, and we can't recommend it enough! From start to finish, everything was just perfect. The weather was absolutely ideal for beginners—barely any wind of 10-12 knots, which made it super easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful views without worrying about the boat rocking too much. The skipper and crew were amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. They made sure everyone felt comfortable and were always happy to offer tips and guidance. They were patient and really made sure we all had a chance to get involved in the sailing, specifically steering the yacht. The whole vibe was laid-back but professional, and you could tell they genuinely love what they do. The scenery in Hobart was stunning, with views of river Derwent and surrounds that were absolutely breathtaking. Even though we had minimal wind, it felt like a peaceful adventure on the water.
