What To Expect
Richmond Bridge
Free time to explore this historic town. There is the oldest Catholic Church in Australia, the oldest jail and oldest bridge. There are plenty of antique shops and eateries.
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
You are given free food pellets to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. There are a large variety of animals and enclosures with a guide meeting passengers along the way with informative commentary. Get up close and personal with koalas and you can watch Tasmanian devils feed.

5.00Exceptionnel afternoon. Our driver Phil was knowledgeable and interesting to listen. Richmond is lovely town to visit and offers delicious bakeries. My highlight is my time at the sanctuary and be immersed with the kangaroos. The tour was very instructive.

4.00I found the visit here interesting even if the Tasmanian Devil was too tired to show up. I found the enclosure with the free-running or jumping around Kanguruhs, which you can also feed very nice. You can hardly get that close to these animals otherwise. It was also interesting that in the Tier Hospital you could look through windows like injured animals were treated. Cafe and parking available. About 30 min by car from Hobart.
