With a winemaker or local legend as your guide; your tour starts with an informative vineyard stroll. You can ask all those curly questions, and capture some great vineyard photos.
During your full day tour you visit 4-6 wineries which could include a local brewery (depending on the preferences of the group), with over 40 cellar doors to choose from, if you’ve got a favorite we’ll do our best to get you there. We generally focus on a new Zealand family owned vineyards and wineries but can also visit the small boutique and organic vineyards.
This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog. If Cloudy Bay is a must see then please book our Gourmet Gold Tour or a Private Wine tour
Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight and is at your own cost. There is opportunity to visit the Makana Chocolate Shop.

We begin the day by talking about the Marlborough wine industry, with informative vineyard stroll tasting the grapes and an ultra premium wine tasting at a boutique winery. 5.00This was such an incredible way to experience Marlborough wines! I am studying for my WSET 3 and wanted to experience the wines of Marlborough. Darlene was an incredible host and guide for this experience. She even went out of her way to take us to a different winery than her original plan because we had already visited. 100% recommend this tour!

5.00Charismatic and chatty driver Doug who took the time to stop by some vines to explain some of the specifics of viticulture. He gave us a good history of the region intertwined with humour. He was a good driver and didn’t rush us at each place. He had good recommendations for food. I enjoyed that we didn’t go to wineries that you can just buy from the supermarket. Doug made the effort to speak to everyone in the group. You can tell he is passionate about wine.

5.00What can I say. I was not expecting too much but instead what I got was an amazing day. Our guide Amanda was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to ensure our party gelled quickly and felt relaxed. The cellar doors were some of the best I have been to and I've been to a lot. Lunch was great. All in all a really fantastic day. Very informative, great host and of course some great wines. I would certainly recommend this full day of wine tasting and excellent value for money

4.00Enjoyable day touring Marlborough wineries with out knowledgeable guide, Doug. Only reason for the score of 4 (not 5) was that the advert stated it included a behind the scenes visit at one of the wineries, but our tour guide said they don’t do that anymore due to health and safety?? We visited 4 vineyards for sampling and one other for lunch only (where we received a glass of wine included), but the meal at your own cost. All were very nice and well run, but samples very small (probably totalled one medium glass of wine at each). In summary it was an enjoyable day and well run, but a little expensive for what you get!

5.00This was such a good day - our guide Cam was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. I learnt a lot about the area and viticulture and tasted some amazing wines in glorious surroundings. The group was lovely, the transport comfy and it really felt like home from home…. With wine. What could be better?
