Smaller tour group with informative tour guide Kirk. Fantastic day out with a very unique Australian experience that is hard to get to otherwise. Highly highly recommend this tour. Safety was a priority with a new 4wd bus. Great fun. Nice lunch provided. Not to be missed !!

The tour was really great. Kirk was a great guide. He is always in a good mood and knows an extremely great deal about the entire island. Always happy to.

We had a great day on this tour. The weather was cloudy and a few sprinkles but that meant it wasn’t too hot. A Very well organised tour, they confirmed pick up time at our accommodation with our experienced driver/guide Kirk. The small bus was comfortable, Kirk was very informative and entertaining. The group of about 20 was a good size not too big and we met some lovely people. Lunch was provided and was fresh. This is the second time I have been to K’gari and it is still a beautiful place to visit, loved our swim in Lake Mackenzie, plenty of change rooms/ toilets. Thank you Kirk for a great day , highly recommend Fraser experience tours for your next visit to the Island.

I had a really great day tour with Fraser Experience Tour. Our guide Kirk was incredibly well informed and cheerful. There were clear instructions and information and many details about K’gari Island. Kirk always made sure that both sides of the bus could take pictures. He was always trying to integrate everyone. He lives his profession, which has become really great and now rare. Thanks for that! But he might like to include one or two short speech breaks ;) so that what has been said can be processed ;). Thanks, Kirk!!!

A fantastic guide! Experienced and knowledgeable. The environment of course did its part and nice traveling companion. Nothing for people with bad backs as the roads are bumpy as…. Would easily do it again for the amazing nature, history and the nice baths

Nice day at beatiful K'gari. To much time spent inside the rather uncomfortable bus, but at least we got to se quite a few splendid spots. Our guide was nice, but a little bit to much on auto pilot in our book. The bus first got stuck in the sand during one of the steep climbs on our way back to Kingfisher bay - then broke down on out trip back to Hervey beach. An unfortunate circumstance which none the less left a mixed impression. Bottom line- good value all together, but not exceptional. The experience deserves 4 stars.

We were traveling in a minibus with a total of 11 people. Tour guide Kirk has very competent and entertainingly conveyed a lot of information. Unfortunately, the day was very packed , it would have been nice to have some more time at the individual stops. The island is definitely worth a visit and should definitely be planned. But as a self-driver I would definitely not do it!

Dave was a brilliant guide, friendly and very knowledgeable.I learnt a lot about the history of Fraser Island. The experience lasted about 12 hours from being collected from our hotel to drop off back there at the end.It took about an hour from pick up to the ferry after we picked up 2 other couples. The ferry takes about 45 minutes and is an easy crossing. The van takes mainly sand tracks around the island and just a word of warning to anyone with back problems or car motion sickness these journeys are usually very bumpy, sometimes very very bumpy. We visited lake Mackenzie for about an hour and had a nice swim.We also drove along 75 mile beach which was fun but you can't swim there even when you stop at Eli Creek as the sea is too dangerous. You can paddle in the creek though.Nice walk amongst the forest at Central Station and lunch was fine,Overall a fun tour, worth doing.I do think it's a slightly sad place in that at one time it supported a logging industry, families,a school and exported superb wood to the world. That's now all gone and it's essentially a museum for tourists as the forest overtakes former tracks and paths and closes in and the resorts on the island are up for sale due to lack of interest in staying on the island for tourists when there's so little to do beyond a day trip
