Samui Explorers Off-Road 4x4 Private tour, if perfect for those wanting to explore Koh Samui avoiding the tourist areas, and off the beaten track.
Our Off-Road 4x4 Tour is unique to any others on Samui. The Itinerary was built based around all my favourite places I have hiked to, from the bottom to the top.
Throughout the tour, passing breathtaking views. Stopping on route for photographic opportunities.
It is not in any way an extreme crazy safari tour. Our English speaking drivers take great care, and safety at all times.
Our drivers have excellent knowledge of Koh Samui and working with nationalities around the globe
Myself being British, communication is easy, therefore your desires are fully understood and all things taking into account when recommending the perfect tour.
The Itinerary can be customised at an additional fee 250 baht paid on the day to the driver.

Off-Road Private 4×4 Island Tour: • Namuang Waterfall 2 for a swim. • Drive off-road to Secret Buddha Garden – An amazing place to visit. A Dorian Farmer carved the sculptures until he passed away. He made his Secret Garden as a hobby after finishing work as a Dorian Farmer. • Driving higher to the standing Buddha at Teepankorn Temple. The highest Temple point of Samui. • Lunch stop, relax and take in the stunning views from the lunch location. Lunch not included in the tour price • Continue the drive up to the next level of Maenam Hills to stopping at a viewpoint, to take photos or just take in its beauty. • • Bridge Cafe which is located midway up Maenam Hills surrounded by natural beauty. The Bridge Cafe seating area is built around a very large tree situated in the valley. • Walking across to the seating area requires a walk over a rope bridge with spectacular views over the valley either side. • A short and easy hike to a waterfall. For those adrenalin seekers, you can take a zip-line across the valley at an additional fee paid on tour • Along the way lots of options to choose and take photos of the views down below over Lamai, Maenam and Thong Krut with a view of Koh Tan and Koh Madsum. • Head back to the hotel/resort/villa. • Nb: The Itinerary will vary in order, the order is dependant on your pick up point and start time If the weather should change, making the ground unsafe the tour will be cancelled and a full refund is given. Alternate days can be arranged if available. For customers interested in a customised tour please state before booking as an additional charge will apply of 250 baht Hotel Pickups are free if in the following areas Cheong Mon, Bang Rak, Plai Leam, Chaweng, Chaweng Noi All other areas to include Nathon Pier has a 500 baht fee Nb. Food, drinks and entrance to Secret Buddha Garden is not included (fee 80 baht per person)

5.00We booked this tour as we liked the idea that it was a private tour just for us both. We were not disappointed! Our tour guide (Kai) was absolutely fantastic! He drove us around the island stopping periodically to show us the beautiful sites and even picked fruit (rambutans, similar to a lychee) from a tree for us to try. We had all the time we wanted at each stop and could tailor make the tour to our liking. Kai was very friendly, knowledgeable, avoided the busy tourist periods and is simply the best 4x4 off road driver. I have to say, this was the best tour I have ever experienced in Thailand. Thank you Kai for making our day so very special.

5.00The day was everything we had hoped. We wanted to get the lay of the land and see as much of the island as we could in six hours. Our driver, Palm, was very friendly and accommodating, customizing our experience as requested. We really enjoyed the rooftop ride through the jungle taking in such sights as temples, waterfalls and viewpoints. We finished the day touring the perimeter of the island, stopping at popular beaches along the way. Palm went above and beyond throughout the day to ensure we had a fun and fulfilling experience. We highly recommend this tour and give a big shout out to Palm for making our day so special.
Truly the highlight of our trip: from the amazing customer service to an incredible experience in Koh Samui.

5.00We truly had an amazing time thanks to Samui explorer. Did the private 4x4 SUV tour and booked a private boat to see the Ang thong marine park. We had originally only booked the 4x4 SUV tour: Michelle was very helpful, quick to answer on Whatsapp, and patient despite our disorganization. Our driver spoke pretty good English and would to explain us the different landmarks. I loved that we got to swim at the Na Muang Waterfall. We had liked the tour and the booking process so much that we decided to also arrange our tour for the Marine Ang Thong Park with them. Michelle even arranged within 24h to surprise me with a cake on the boat for my birthday, which I’m so grateful for. The boat crew was lovely and we got to have a tailored tour, which we recommend. Adding to that, they provide pretty much everything needed (we especially loved the heart shaped watermelons or the small pineapples). When booking a trip we are full of questions: Did we choose the right agency? Is this going to be a good tour? Is that how we want our day to be planned?… Deciding to entrust Samui explorer for two days of our week long trip was a great decision and I’m so glad we did. Thank you to our SUV driver, thank you to the boat crew, and most importantly thank you Michelle for allowing us to explore Koh Samui in the best way possible

5.00We had a very nice day with a super guide and nice experiences. The guide was friendly, attentive, helpful and kind to us. The car we drove in was nice, extra exciting to be able to sit over the boardhouse on parts of the trip. Security was good.

5.00Our driver Mai was great, very precise. We rode on top of the truck and it was like being on the Indiana Jones ride at Disney but with a much better view and we never felt in any danger.

5.00First of all, the German translation of the title can be misunderstood. We had a lovely tour of the island. Our driver also stopped again and again to explain something to us. The best thing, of course, is if you can sit above the driver's cab while driving through the countryside. There is also time to linger at a point, or to enjoy a coffee. You could also do the tour in 4 hours, but the extra time makes you arrive sometimes. We would book this tour again.

5.00We had the most joyous driver for this tour. Even though English was hard, he was so pleasant and friendly with everyone. The weather was wonderful and I can see how this might make or break it if you want to sit on top. Be aware that is takes a bit of nimbleness to ride on top. Good alternative to marine tours that are closed in November.

5.00From the ease of booking, great communication leading up to the day, with extremely prompt pick up in a very clean vehicle to a full explanation of the day by a brilliant, courteous and smiling tour guide/driver. As we came to each tour location he explained where to go and gave you plenty of time to explore. Driving from each place he would point out different items of interest, especially the spider! Great day would highly recommend and do it again.

5.00If you want to see Koh Samui from a different perspective and explore the hills, this is a great way to do it. Alec will tailor the trip to you. For us, that was a bit lighter on temples, but big on great views and natural attractions. There was also a treetop zip line and cute cafes to keep us interested along the way. He even stopped to show us a giant spider! We loved it all. Who knows, you might too.

5.00We were picked up very punctually by our driver / guide "Jonny" (we hope we remembered the name correctly). The tour was very informative, eventful, just good. Jonny is a very helpful, friendly person who was also available for fun. He drove very carefully, we always felt safe in and on his vehicle. The lunch took place in a typical Thai restaurant with an awesome view. The food was very delicious and also priced fine. We were 2 friendly couples on the car which was great and can this Tour only recommend.
