Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai)

Island’s iconic landmark which called "Koh Faan" is located of the golden Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai). You will see Lord Buddha Statue is stting 15-meter tall on the north coast of the island. Here, there are a lot of clothes' shops for your shopping that are recommended by travelers around Big Buddha Temple.

If you’re in Ko Samui and looking for a custom, private tour experience, this is it! Communication leading up to, throughout and after our tour was phenomenal. We were able to visit each of the locations we were interested in and our tour guide made sure we had a premium experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit the island at their own pace.

You should know where you want to go before the tour starts. I highly recommend the elephant sanctuary. There are a number of activities in which you can participate. We fed the elephants which was very cool. The waterfall was cool too. The driver was very nice, attentive, and helped us out when we didn’t have coins for the bathroom.

We booked a driver for the day. He was polite and friendly. He took us to everywhere we wanted to go ie elephant sanctuary, beach, temples and other sites along the way. Cannot fault.

Interesting and fun to explore more of the island. Even though it was bad weather and raining this day, it was a memorable experience. The driver was nice and did his best to make the excursion as good as possible

Together with my family made a tour with this friendly gentleman. He drives nicely and gives tips. We could decide for ourselves how we wanted to organize our day and which stops we wanted to make. The nice thing was that we could also leave whenever we wanted.

We book a private tour and expect a sedan but got a roomy van. The AC works very well. We visit all 4 spots on the itinerary, the Budha, the beach + shops, the rock + viewpoint, add a lunch stop and then the waterfall. It was a perfect run down. We had a wonderful seafood lunch with all Thai dishes. Our driver Mike did a wonderful job.
