Visiting these beautiful rescue elephants was a wonderful experience. It is so good to see how well they are cared for so that they can have a much better life than what they were once used to. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A lot of knowledge, so much fun and most of all a beautiful place for elephants. Not only for families with kids.

The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. This tour was the highlight of our trip. Hearing the back story of the rescue elephants created a greater sense of connection.

If you care about elephants and want them to be cared for rather than exploited, this is the tour for you. I could spend a lot of words describing the enjoyable experiences like feeding and bathing elephants, or seeing them just living in a natural environment. However, the best part of the tour was seeing the love for and the joy of caring for the elephants in all of the Samui Elephant Home personnel, from the leadership through the staff, caretakers and volunteers. It was inspiring. (But seriously, feeding the elephants was very cool!!) This is a great tour and so worth your time.

What a great experience this was. You could tell from the moment you entered that this was truly an ethical environment! The care, the passion and the dedication the staff had truly showed! No chains no sticks to prompt the Elephant's it was very natural. The knowledge of the staff was amazing and very forthcoming with information about being educated. Would highly recommend this experience as it was just magical!

This was a fabulous experience. Throughout the whole time you move from activity to activity, alternating from learning about the elephants to engaging with them. Their focus on respect for the elephants and animal welfare carries throughout. The guides are friendly and you feel the animals are respected. They also take great care of you as a guest. Would highly recommend for an authentic and respectful experience.

This was such a great ethical experience, you prepared and fed the elephants but did not touch them as they are all rescue, walk with them in the jungle, if they wanted, and watched them take a mud bath and then wash themselves down afterwards. If the elephants wanted to play they could and if they didnt it was not forced. Would highly recommend and the staff were amazing.
