What To Expect
Enjoy a 4hr, world class whale watch, including morning/afternoon tea and biscuits from the comfort of our purpose-built whale watching vessel, the AMAROO a fast stable 20m (66-foot) catamaran featuring modern facilities and carrying up-to 80 passengers. She boasts three spacious viewing decks meaning you are assured of an unobstructed, 360 degree view of all marine life. AMAROO has full facilities including a bar. Our experienced local Captain will provide informative commentary on the humpback whales, local area, Fraser Coast history and other marine life. Watch the gentle giants of the sea spy-hop, tail slap and breach. Hold your breath while courting adults ‘boat’ around the vessel playing hide and seek as they are attracted to the Amaroo's bright colours. Experience an up close and personal mugging as Whales move in to watch you, watching them. You won’t miss a minute of the action as the Whales lurch from the waves before your eyes. A 40-tonne migrating humpback whale just metres away from you is breathtaking! Whale watching from Hervey Bay is second to none, it truly is like no other place. 5.00I have been whale watching in a different location. This was best . So many whales, got some of the best photos with out even trying. Saw a breach but was too far. Staff were excellent, not over crowded. Both my partner and I have a disability we did have go outside or top of boat to get a view of a life time.

5.00Today we witnessed the magnificent whales at play in Hervey Bay. Our cruise had 45 people on it and we all had plenty of room for opportunities to take some wonderful photos and videos. The crew were friendly and gave us lots of information. We were spoilt by the whales at play.

5.00The crew was very nice and knew a lot about the whales, but also about a dingo we saw on the way. There was also free transport to and from the campsite. Seen a lot of whales, near and farther away.
