Lydia was awesome! The whole experience was wonderful and we highly recommend doing a tour if you’re in the area. She also gave us great suggestions on where to grab cocktails and stores outside of the market.
Pleasant tour, quite small tastings of many many things.

Granville Island is chock full of things to see (and eat)... I felt that our guide Lydia really tailored the experience to us, and gave us an experience which was better than we would have had if we just wandered on our own. She told us the history of the different vendors, and had small tastes of food at each stand. The order of areas which we visited was very good, so that the tour 'flowed' like a progressive dinner. I would strongly recommend this tour.

We had a great time on the Granville Island food tour! Our guide Michael was knowledgeable and kept us entertained the whole time - I learned so much about the market's history and the diverse vendors. The food was delicious and they accommodated my vegetarian diet. We'll definitely check out some of their other tours on future trips to Vancouver!

My nephew and I enjoyed this company’s tours so much that we did three(!) of their tours in two weeks. The guides were knowledgeable and charming. The food presented was delicious and was a wonderful introduction to the impressive foodie delights of Vancouver. Michelle, the owner, has put together a wonderful team of guides and agendas.

Fir the price I felt I would have experienced more touring alone. The samplings were poor and we didn’t linger and enjoy the merchant during most of the samplings but left the market to sample outside! Our guide was lovely but my experience was not par to the price!

Price compared to experience was crazy high. The experience of the merchants we visited was poor. Getting a tray of snacks and leaving the market to taste was awkward. Took away from the charm of being in the market. A couple tastings were poor for example, two this slices of pickles when I could of stood at the merchants and tasted multiple offerings for free. Didn’t make sence. Our guide was great, knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone based on the cost for what we experienced.

Lots of good samples with interesting stories and local flavor. Nolan was personable and kept the group entertained. Would highly recommend this tour - pace was great and gave us an opportunity to sample and see tons more than we could have on our own.
