FlyOver Canada
Take an exhilarating flight simulation ride. Your 25-minute experience inside a 3-story high-dome-screen theater is made up of three stages: the pre-show, pre-launch and the 8-minute experience. First, walk into the pre-show area for an audio-visual showcasing the people of Canada. Then, head to the boarding zone for your preflight briefing. After a safety orientation, you’re led to the flight deck. Get buckled in and hold on for takeoff! Soar from coast to coast in Canada, and immerse yourself in spectacular scenery. Grab on to your seat as you dive from high peaks to the rolling countryside; see fishermen, cowboys, lakes and the woods — they’re so close you can almost touch them. Feel the wind and rain in your face, and inhale heady scents of wherever you’re flying through. When your flight ride ends, take a moment to recover and then exit through the hangar. This tour is available all-year round, with shows starting every 20 minutes during operating hours.

Because it was a rainy day, it was a nice indoor activity to go to. I like the Disney World Soaring experience better but still would say it was a nice activity.

It seems like vertigo may be an issue BUT it wasn’t. An amazing experience! I went with my granddaughter and it is a great memory.

The experience itself deserves 5 stars! However, what they don’t mention in this listing is that choosing a time when you buy the ticket does not mean that you have spots reserved on the experience. Apparently the two systems do not talk so you will most likely have to wait for an available spot at a different time slot. Very frustrating!

Great ride showcasing Canada's landscapes. Enjoyable for kids as well. Good service by the gift store staff. The motion sensors made the ride more entertaining and realistic.

FlyOver Canada is one of my most amazing experiences in Vancouver, completely beyond the imagination of a traditional cinema. Before entering the flight cabin, the queue area is spacious and comfortable, there is plenty of warmth, you can still take photos and wait time becomes easy and enjoyable. The 4D simulation flight experience takes me to the middle of the sky, with seats up and down with the screen, with special effects such as wind, fog, scent, etc. From the snow-hill glaciers in the cultivated region, to the emerald lakes in the Los Angeles Mountains, to the lively cities of Quebec, you can travel across the country in just a few minutes. Clear, dynamic and natural, it feels like actually flying across Canadian land. It’s not just entertainment, it’s a lively Canadian geography lesson. Whether you are an adult or a child, or a novice or an old traveler, you can feel excitement and thrill here. FlyOver Canada is definitely a classic experience to visit in Vancouver, making every trip a memorial.

We all enjoyed it, we felt it could have been longer, more than just 25 minutes, it was fast paced, maybe a tad slower with more places to see in Canada. East, West, North & South, instead of guessing where it was filmed.

Do it. It's unique. It's like being strapped into a 6 person ski chair and then being flown rapidly across various Canadian terrains, to the point where I wanted to lift my feet to not hit a tree. Feels real if that makes sense and there's various effects like water vapor or a breeze and the chair moves a bit like you're...flying. Lots of locals do it. I see why. It is a quick Canadian pride show. I was walking by and almost didn't do it but I was really glad I did.
