Involved some light walking, if not too hot the walking is easy. If going in summer definitely get a fly net, so many flies! Overall a great tour.

  • Perfect end to our Uluru visit

Tour guide Pete was superb in leading this "up close" look at many facets of Uluru. We were able to engage all our senses in the tour, aided by Pete's thorough immersion in the history and tradition of this sacred land. The tour ended with an outstanding sunset view accompanied by delectable treats shared with a friendly and diverse group. To top it off, on the return trip to the resort, Pete introduced us to the artistry of Gurrumul - a voice one will not soon forget.

  • Fine but not sure any better than a bigger bus

We usually book small group experiences because you tend to get a more specialized and unique perspective on the place. This small group tour was okay and the tour guide was very knowledgeable but we just went to the same spots as all the other tour buses. So we were walking on trails with other groups and waiting for them to finish their stories before moving on. Most of the stories were already covered at the cultural centre, where we stopped for 40 minutes so had plenty of time to read them. I probably should have done more research before booking this. Also, if you are staying in the hotels please bear in mind that the restaurants close at 8.30 or 9 and this tour gets you back around 8.30, so may want to eat a big lunch.

Dimitri was great, small tour was nice — it was great only having six other people, it was very easy to maneuver, and the walks were not strenuous.
