Watarrka National Park
The main attraction of Watarrka is undoubtedly Kings Canyon – a humungous gorge enclosed by sheer rock walls hundreds of metres high. Offering a welcome escape from the dry desert heat, this site’s deep gullies and hidden rockpools provide shelter to more than 600 species of native plants and animals. Your guide will point these out on a guided trek that takes in the canyon’s most famous sites – the Lost City, Garden of Eden, Amphitheatre and North and South Walls. After lunch, sit back and relax on the drive to Alice Springs where the tour will end.

This was an outstanding trip, incredibly well organised and the perfect amount of activity and education! Our tour guide, Alex, was awesome! He was super knowledgeable about each and every part of the tour and made the experience truly exceptional. The swag camping and sleeping under the stars is definitely the way to go! We would 100% recommend this trip to anyone considering visiting Uluru.

We were traveling with Adam and would definitely recommend this tour. In addition to the unique views, you go on a little adventure, you get information about the surroundings and culture of the natives explained and with luck also see one or the other animal. We felt in good hands.

What an amazing experience for our young family, sometimes a bit of a push through the heat but the memories are the reward. Having Lorrie as our guide made the experience seamless and she was super knowledgeable and kept everyone on schedule. Highly recommended

It was an amazing weekend, seeing the uluṟu and exploring the outback! Our tourguide Lorrie was great, she could tell us a lot about the aboriginal culture and show us the outback life. Sleeping in a swag was an adventure and sleeping under the sky was a great experience! I would do it again!

Thank you so much Elyse for this unforgettable adventure🙌🏽 I really enjoyed the 4-day rock to rock tour with amazing sunrises, walks and sunsets with outdoor swag camping and stargazing. It was the perfect experience to end my three-month trip to Australia and I'm glad I didn't miss it, despite of the flies😉

Fantastic experience, and our guide, Elyse, made simply all the difference. She is a fearless leader who responsibly took our international group of around +20 into the desert with care, intention, deep knowledge, cultural respect, and a safety-first mentality. Elyse is an Outback Queen, as well as a fabulous ambassador for Australia's Northern Territory. Thank you! My BFF and I did the 4-day tour and hiked everything on offer—we loved it. It's not glamping, so yes there were bugs, critters, extreme heat, and strong sun. Just bring sunscreen, a fly net, wide-brimmed hat, and a big water bottle. Put it all in a day pack, and off you go. Having a positive attitude and helpful demeanor were also paramount, especially for early morning wakeup calls to see some of the most majestic sunrises of your life, as well as dealing with everyday living in the wilderness. If you want to be pampered, stay at the hotel. If you're feeling adventurous, open, have a can-do attitude, don't mind helping out a little with light food prep and cleaning, can keep yourself busy in an air conditioned bus for a stretch of time, and are looking for a 100% unique way to connect with the history and culture of the area (as well as your fellow campers), then this tour is for you. Enjoy!

Very cool tour with well chosen hikes including sunrise. Super organized and the overnight stays were a lasting experience. Greg, our manager, gave us a lot of information and was also very humorous.
