Pirate Water Taxi offers daily tours of Tampa with many stops located along our route near attractions, museums, restaurants & parks! Simply scan your ticket aboard the taxi at any of the stops located throughout Downtown Tampa. Upon boarding you will receive a Pirate Water Taxi wristband which allows you to hop on and off the taxi at any stop for unlimited rides – all day! These wristbands also give you discounts with a number of venues located on the route as part of our Pirate Perks Program.

4.00My wife and I went on the taxi and we enjoyed it very much. Captain Pete and his crew Angelina were very nice and enjoyable to give us some history of the bay and the various buildings and houses.

5.00I’m so glad we decided to do this little activity. The staff were fun and engaging. I loved the little history lesson they gave going through the different stops. It is a bit pricey but honestly we enjoyed it and so glad we did it. The weather was beautiful. No issues at all. Thank you making this a relaxing and enjoyable trip.

3.00It was expensive for a 45 minute see the lights Christmas boat ride. There were not many lights. The guy singing Christmas songs did a good job though.

3.00Such a disappointment. Not recommended for adults without kids. I expected to see lots of lights, what you are seeing is the lights set up in the water. If you go, get there early. Unfortunately we were last to arrive so our seats were not good.

5.00We traveled on a clear day so it was a very enjoyable ride - your guides were entertaining and informative. I recommend this as a Great way to see downtown Tampa’s waterfront. I especially like the hop on hop off feature. Parking near the convention center was reasonable and plentiful on the Monday trip.

5.00Had so much fun on the haunted pirate water taxi tour! The guide was an amazing storyteller. We enjoyed a beautiful evening, checking out downtown Tampa from the best seat in the house on the Hillsborough River. Boarding was smooth, seamless and easy! The water taxi was comfortable And very enjoyable overall experience. I would highly recommend enjoying as a local or a visitor. The water taxi makes it super convenient to see all the best spots in downtown Tampa.
The boat tour took us all the way around Tampa, and we got to see some really cool mansions alongside the river.
