  Dave, if that was his name! was very funny and entertaining; it was a great tour, and an ideal way of seeing what the Hunter Valley has to offer in just half a day.

  Our driver Grey was fantastic and very entertaining. There was alot of sitting around and waiting due to incorrect bookings at the wineries .

  Loved our half day tour with Two Fat Blokes. Our guide Julie was very knowledgeable & friendly. Perfect way to spend the afternoon trying some great wines at boutique wineries, learning a little bit about both wine & the area. Highly recommend.

  Very pleasant but casual tour - not one for anyone looking for detailed information on the wines or the processes etc. the driver was fun and the team at oakdale were amazing

  Pick up was from our accommodation and right on time. we had Alan as our driver and host. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about wine. we had a fantastic day sampling cheese and wine. would recommend this tour to everyone .

  The first place we visited the lady serving our drinks was very austere. She told one member of our party off twice for swirling his wine with bubbles in. She wouldn’t pour the cider drink for my daughter as she was looking outside and ‘May not come back’. Whether she came back or not was immaterial as we had paid for the tour so she should have poured it. We then had to seek someone out on my daughter’s return to get her drink. The second location they had no register of our tours booking, this actually worked in our favour as we were placed outside to do our tasting. JJ our driver and pourer at the last place was great. She was friendly, informative and gave lots of good advice. She made the trip.

  We went to three different vineyards around Hunter Valley, and the first was definitely the best. We were a group of 12 so got to speak to everybody, which was a super nice feature of the tour. After the first vineyard the wines decreased in quality - and we didn’t learn anything about the wines, grapes or the vineyards themselves. We booked this tour because of the positive reviews & personalities, plus the opportunity to learn about Aussie wine. Unfortunately we didn’t feel we got that experience. Our tour guide simply dropped us from place to place and even 1-1 interactions were hard, we felt like an inconvenience. This is a quick way to see a glimpse of what Hunter Valley has to offer, but it definitely didn’t feel like more than that.

  Two wineries, the cheese tasting took place in the premises of the organizer. That wouldn't have hurt a little more time, it got a little hectic. In addition, I would have liked to have had information about the cheese (production, ripening time, etc.), there was nothing about it. But it was an international funny troupe (about 20 people) and was very fun

  The driver Shaun was very welcoming and informative. The wineries were visited were great and bought a few bottles to take home.
