This is a private tour to a public destination. By private, we mean that we don't usually combine groups unless it is only 1-4 people.
Get ready for a fun ride to Peekaboo Slot Canyon! The best way to get to the canyon is with an off-road machine. Our UTV's are tons of fun for the sandy, bumpy trails.
Sandboarding is an included optional activity for children, teens, and adults who want to give it a try. You can slide standing up or sitting down according to your skill and comfort levels. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way, with occasional small wildlife that may make an appearance. This dry slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the busier areas at the national parks.
The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. Enjoy the narrow sections with the occasional beam of light. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Super fun, off the beaten path experience

5.00We went in December and while it was forecasted to rain, the tour operator helped us to understand how weather forecasts can not be always be relied upon for the area we were touring. They were right, and we didn’t get any rain during our tour. Our guide was very friendly, skilled at driving and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. We had a fantastic time.

5.00The back country atv ride was super fun! We saw an enormous buck and his family! Sand boarding was fun, sitting or standing, and climbing up the hill is really not as strenuous as these reviews would have you think. The hike was super chill, educational and downright gorgeous. Brent was the perfect guide. We really enjoyed ourselves.

5.00Brent was a great guide. He took our comfort into consideration at all times. He provided extra jackets, as the weather was chilly. He gave us tips on sanboarding and we were able to get down the hill successfully, multiple times! The slot Canyon was interesting and we appreciated his comments on how it has changed over the years. He states this is his favorite tour and he keeps coming back again and again.

5.00Highlight of our trip! Tyler was the best guide. Our kids (4 and 8) absolutely loved the sand boarding. Tyler was so knowledgeable and warm and friendly. He got great action shots and videos of us exploring. He even edited the pics. Memories made to last a lifetime! We’re hopeful to make it back for more exploring. 10/10 recommend.
