Load into our Can-Am UTV's and let our guides drive you to the base of a little known slot canyon called Coal Hollow Slot Canyon. After a short 1/2 mile but steep hike we will arrive at the first of 6 to 7 rappels. We provide all the equipment we will need for this amazing opportunity to rappel into a slot canyon. Getting to see a slot from the start of the canyon to the end is unforgettable. This will be the high-light of your vacation!

Due to the fact that we have multiple tours per day being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. We are on Mountain Time and an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona.

What To Expect

Sugar Knoll is the most prominent feature in the area. Settlers thought it looked like a pile of sugar when it is covered in snow. It is a sister mountain to Checkerboard Mesa in Zion Nation Park. We will spend the majority of the time rappelling in Ladder Canyon right next t o Sugar Knoll.

Awesome Canyoneering - Zage took great care of our group of 7, all first time rappelling! The scenery is beyond gorgeous, despite the chilly weather and moments of drizzle. Definitely safety first - we paused before continuing in the slot canyon to make sure the rain had passed and no flooding chance. Definitely should have brought an extra pair of shoes and socks, as there is one rappel into a mid-calf deep puddle you can’t avoid!

Our family decided to have a Thanksgiving holiday filled with fun and adventure. The canyoneering tour with Jack at ROAM definitely lived up to expectations. Jack is super knowledgeable and patient. He literally talked me off the cliff at the beginning of our tour by explaining the process and showing how safe we were. This was a super fun day for the whole family. No canyoneering experience is needed. We had several fun filled days over the Thanksgiving break and this was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Jack!

Awesome day learning basics of canyoneering. Tyler guided is and was super knowledgeable and made us feel really safe. It wasn’t too strenuous but still had some exciting obstacles. Would recommend!

Had an absolute blast going canyoneering! Our guide, Rob was the best and made the entire experience so fun, chill, and thrilling! His awesome energy and excellent guidance truly sparked a new fire to possibly add canyoneering to the already long list of hobbies. Kyle was exceptional - again. This is my second trip with him as our guide. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and really knows the canyoning craft. The canyons were amazing. This is an adventure and memory of a lifetime. I highly recommend you make time for this on your trip to the parks.

It was a great time! Noah was the tour guide and was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and special. He even had some great tips on places to visit in the area. I highly recommend the Canyoneering! Great view, nice trail, and so much fun!
