Mike was a fantastic tour guide and very knowledgeable. We chose to do a Normandy tour focusing on the USA involvement in D-Day. Mike was very personable to my wife and I as well as our two teenagers. His van was neat, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the speaker system so you could hear in the back seat all that he was saying. We were pleased with all the sites he took us to and all the information he presented to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Mike and learned a lot. I would absolutely recommend Mike and Allied Victory Tours.

We took this tour several years ago, and Mike was such a knowledgeable, informative and entertaining guide that we did a private tour for us and my brother and his wife on this year's visit. It was an all day tour with a lunch break, so we got to see and learn even more than before. For anyone interested in WWII or D-Day, Mike's tour is amazing. Highly recommended.

I went on the Utah Beach Tour with Mike and it was amazing. I let Mike know that I had known Dick Winters of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne, and at my request, we quickly switched gears and did a "Band of Brothers Tour." It was sensational to see all the key sights that I never would have known about had I not been with Mike. He is extremely skilled and informed and so easy to talk to. I highly recommend this trip.

Mike was the perfect guide during our recent custom, private tour of Normandy beaches. Visiting this area was on my 88-year-old father's bucket list, and Mike provided a truly unforgettable experience. His knowledge and expertise made WWII history come alive for my dad, brother and me. We so very much appreciated the flexibility and pleasant demeanor the Mike displayed as he cheerfully accommodated my aging dad's mobility issues. (And what a pleasure it was to get to know Mike’s lovely wife, Deb—who was the ultimate hostess during our stay at their wonderful Le Pont de la Pierre Vintage B&B which contains the must-see Women Of Valour WW2 Museum.)

We used Mike for our tour when we were visiting Normandy and it was the greatest experience! He was super flexible with pick up locations, great with the young kids in our group, and had so much knowledge. My husband is a military history, major, so having a tour guide who really knew more than he did was great 😃 we didn’t book a band of Brothers specific Tour, but because I had seen the show and I’m not super interested in history like the rest of our group, he made sure to point out specific spots from the show, which I really enjoyed! You can’t go wrong booking with Mike!

Mike picked us up at the train station. He is such a friendly, professional guide. He has extensive knowledge about WWII and the D-Day battle. He lives in the area and has led tours for many years. He took my dad and I to all of the sights and made the entire experience so memorable. He’s even an excellent photographer and made some of the best pictures of the two of us we have from the trip. He pointed out several film locations and discussed how various WWII movies haven’t necessarily been accurate. He timed our visit to the American Cemetery perfectly so that we could hear taps at 4 PM. On the way back to the train station, he was gracious enough to stop and help us buy wine and cheese for a civilized picnic on our train ride back to Paris. The whole day was lovey and so special!

We had a great 1/2 day tour with Mike. Starting with a super smooth process of booking and Mike picking us up at our hotel in Bayeux. He was able to keep all of us (including kids aged 11-15) interested and engaged throughout the tour. Certainly had lots of facts and history, but just as importantly was entertaining and engaging. Gave great recommendations for the rest of our time in Normandy and my only regret is that we didn't have more time. Would absolutely use Mike and Allied Victory Tours again.

Mike was amazing! I was so excited for this private tour and it did not disappoint. I felt like I learned so much more than I ever knew and couldn't wait to share what I learned with others.
