4.00There is a bus from the parking lot and all the way forward. Recommend walking if you do not have trouble walking for a while. Wear good shoes. It is an experience in itself to get closer and closer on foot. Lots of people!

5.00This tour was great! We started early. My Guide, Manon, picked me up from my hotel at 815am. It’s was a long drive thru the countryside to Monte Saint Michel, but Manon kept us entertained the whole way with jokes and information about the area. When we arrived at the site, Manon let us know what to expect and let us stop and use the toilets before taking the bus up to the site. She gave us a knowledgeable tour around the village as we made our way up to the Monastery. There are quite a few stairs on this tour but Manon kept a pace everyone could keep up with and I didn’t feel like we were going too slow. She also let us know about a water bottle fill station at the top if we needed it. All in all the tour was very informative and fun. We had some free time to explore on our own after the tour. It was perfect timing, around 12:00pm maybe 12:30pm, because that is when the site got very busy and crowded. The restaurants all seemed to fill up and there was less and less walking space thru the village. Our group was glad we started early and had beaten the crowds. The ride back was so relaxing I was able to take a quick nap to refresh. Manon offered to drop me off at town center instead of my hotel. I had mentioned I wanted to see the cathedral earlier in the day. It was a perfect end to a great tour. Thank you Manon for the wonderful experience and all the information. You were a fun guide!

5.00Great tour and great tour guides! Went with my girlfriend and had a blast. My only complaint is the guide was so informative that we didn’t have much time to visit the town or see the battlements as he talked us out of time.

5.00We visited this beautiful site, interesting remained as in the Middle Ages. We from Rennes took the direct bus, arrived at the village parking lot, a free shuttle took us to the island. The shuttle leaves and returns every 5 minutes or so. Very convenient not to worry about schedules .Noi we spent a beautiful sunny day but also breezy.
