Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic in his retelling and explanations of the D-Day landings. My three teens were engaged and interested and we all came away with a greater understanding of the region. Thanks so much.

We were not up with the d day history as much as we should have been and I think that if you are doing this a little prior knowledge would help… the guide was excellent and his English was excellent and he enthused us to read up more information on d day

Only five people in our group. We had a wonderful guide who spoke flawless english. She answered every question with insight and used photos in her binder to illuminate her points. Both my father and father-in-law landed at Omaha and Utah beach respectively. She personalized the tour to reflect what our fathers would have experienced as they landed on each of the beaches. We started at Utah beach, and were the first group to arrive at Utah that morning. So, we had the entire beach to our ourselves. Our guide said that was very unusual. So, I would recommend an early morning tour with this small group tour.

The guide was absolutely outstanding! She was so knowledgeable (she has a Master's degree in History) about all the factors leading up to WW2 and to D-Day. She was very patient answering our questions. She typically has 4-8 people in the group which is just the right size. There were just 4 of us. We highly recommend seeing these very important and emotional sights ONLY with a guide to set context. Her English was excellent - we have no French speaking skills.

We did the half day tour. They meet at Place du Quebec with other tours. Our guide, Bryce was excellent and very knowledgeable. He was also respectful of all in the group. He did the major sights to give you a great overview. Only improvement would be that I wish we could have had 5 minutes at the Omaha Beach memorial but otherwise, very worthwhile tour.

Emilie did a good job handling an inconsistency between an agreed upon time of the tour and the time on the ticket. The tickets from the app did not reflect our rescheduled time, although they did reflect the rescheduled date. So we showed up at the ticketed time, and were accommodated by another group. More attention should be paid by Viator agents to the ticket details.

We had a lovely tour with Wally and would recommend it to others. We had two small children (infant/toddler) and were glad to see that the tour agency reached out the day before to get their age or size for car seats. The agency then provided two excellent car seats (much better than our Avis car rental). During the tour, Wally tailored the experience to our preferences. He provided standard information, but he also let us guide the visits. For example, we spent extra time at Omaha Beach so that my two-year-old could walk in water. He answered many questions from my mother in law and me, and was honest on the rare occasions he did not know. Best of all, he was friendly, familiar with the area, and happy to talk a bit about the region.

This tour gave a thorough recount of what happened at Omaha Beach on D-Day. The guide was full of stories and anecdotes.
