This tour will take you to sectors where the American V Corps and VII Corps landings occurred at Omaha and Utah beaches. You will follow the steps of the famous 1st, 29th, and 4th American Infantry Divisions and the other units that linked up with them. You will also be taken to the misplaced drop zones of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Units that landed in the early morning hours of the D-Day Invasion on June 6, 1944.

5.00My wife and I had a phenomenal private tour with Antoine. He is a masterful tour guide who not only knows the history of the battles of Normandy and the sites, but also has a dramatic flair for recounting personal acts of heroism among the American soldiers of D-Day that make the history come alive. We met him in the morning and spent a full day private tour with him and we loved every minute of it. He provided plenty of opportunities for us to ask questions and was prepared to go into as much detail as we asked for. He also has his own flip chart book of maps that help orient and provide context for the battles, units and soldiers of D-Day. The van was comfortable and he knew exactly where to take us to beat any crowds. I highly recommend the "OverlordTour Company" and Antione.

5.00I traveled with four friends to spend a day exploring Normandy. Our tour guide Remy is amazing! Yes, we saw all the sights, and he knew every fact. What was unique was all the truly personal, human stories he shared at every step. I could take this tour with Remy 100 times and enjoy every one. Highly recommend!!!

5.00Our tour of the Normandy beaches and surrounding points of interest was the highlight of our 12-day trip to France. Our tour guide, Guillaume, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the history of the area come alive for us. We were able to see many points of interest and he made suggestions for timing lunch so that we weren’t caught in a large crowd at the cafe. During the drive between sites/museums, Guillaume provided more information and answered our many questions. Highly recommend Guillaume, and Overlord Tours!

5.00Thierry took two families (a group of 12) on the Utah and Omaha Beach tour. We had a great day with him. He was thorough, interesting, engaging and clearly has a passion for telling the important stories that are associated with all that happened on these beaches and in the surrounding towns. I would highly recommend Thierry and Overlord Tours. We have also had Remy as a guide in the past and he is wonderful as well. It is time and money well spent as you leave with an appreciation you would not have otherwise had just visiting on your own.

5.00We did a full day private tour out of Bayeux with Antione and it was amazing! His knowledge of the history and sights were incredible. We really enjoyed spending the day with him and his insight was beneficial for our understanding of the historical sights. Very helpful on other things to do in the area. Highly recommend the tour and Antoine!

5.00Our Antonine Guide was excellent. All prior coordination was prompt, clear and efficient. The day of the tour was extremely punctual and Antonine knows a lot about the places we visited. 5.00We reserved a private tour of the Omaha and Utah beaches and we all enjoyed every minute of our day! Guilliam was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He explained what we were seeing and had a lot of historical knowledge to share with us. The entire experience from booking the tour, reserving lodging for the night before and travel to and from Bayeux was very easy with Hope’s guidance. Our family would highly recommend using Overlord Tours!!

5.00We recently did the full-day tour of key WWII sites with Overlord Tours and were thoroughly impressed with the experience. We were in a small group tour with two other families. Our guide Thierry was very friendly and knowledgeable and was great about answering the numerous questions from our group. Even with the chilly weather and the rain we managed to cover all the major important historical sites. Overlord Tours fits a lot of stops and great learning into one day. If you have limited time in Normandy and want to max out your day, this is an ideal way to do it. Overlord was also very easy to work with and communication was great. Would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Jack was well informed with not only the factual statistics involved with the operation, but also shared passionate insights of all involved…local French citizens, U.S., British, Canadian, and German soldiers. Jack was great at anticipating crowds, lines, great local food, restrooms, and he guided us effectively to maximize our experience. He knows well how to read a room! Our second day tour of Mont St Michel and other sites was a very special highlight of our 8-day French vacation!
