Wine tasting begins at Gilbert Wines, home to the ‘lads’ and where a morning coffee might be preferred. Meet Clinton, one of the 'lads' or The Boss, matriarch Bev. The wineery dogs are friendly and welcoming.

What a fantastic tour! Guide was extremely knowledgeable about the region and vineyards, which included personal relationships with cellar staff and owners.. each cellar waa happy to offer as many tastings as we were interested in and the morning tea and lunch were just what we needed. Highly recommend and will book again!

We had a great day out to 4 very different and all fabulous wineries. Each with their own special story. Gilbert’s was a stand out, but loved them all. Lunch was a delicious. Platter of local food.

Had a great winery tour in Albany on the Mt.Barker Grape Escape Tour. Visited 4 wineries during the day with lunch provided on one. Each winery was unique in their own way and provided a great tasting experience with 7-8 tastings at each. What an experience! Our driver/guide, Tim, did a great job with explaining the history of the region and keeping us all track. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Albany.

Lovely day out with Busy Blue Bus Tours! We went on the Mt Barker Grape Escape with Susan as tour guide. We even had the bus to ourselves so it was like a private tour! We learned a lot about wine production in the area, sampled so much great wine and had a lovely morning snack and great lunch. It was great to interact with the producers who were all friendly. We felt unrushed and welcomed. Would recommend!

Most enjoyable day out. 4 great Wineries to visit including lunch, a nice mixed platter. Sue our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area we travelled and the places we visited. The wine tastings were not only yummy but informative, mostly given by family members of the Winery. The bus was comfortable and roomy. Definitely recommend this tour.

A fantastic day! Small group. Visited 4 wineries for tastings - all quite different. A good introduction to the region. Susan our guide was very knowledgeable about the region, the wineries and the wines. Also included a lovely shared platter lunch. Highly recommended.

My Wife, Son and his Wife had wonderful wine tasting tour in the Mt Barker region of WA. We were picked up by Phillip our driver for the day at Mt Baker’s visitor centre. The vehicle was a large people carrier and it was very clean and comfortable. There was another couple on the tour who we quiet quickly made friends with. The tour took us to four local vineyards and we had a lovely lunch platter at one of them that was included in the price. We have never done a wine tasting tour before and we learnt a lot and had a great time. I highly recommend the Busy Blue Bus wine tou, it was a marvellous day out.
