  Here’s a polished review you can use: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Glenorchy Air – Queenstown, NZ We had an unforgettable experience flying with Glenorchy Air from Queenstown to Milford Sound. Our pilot, Will, made the entire trip exceptional—he shared fantastic insights, pointed out landmarks along the way, and explained everything so clearly. His commentary added so much to the journey and really made the flight special. The plane itself was great, with every seat having a window, so no matter where you sit, you’re guaranteed incredible views. And what views they were—the entire flight was absolutely magical, from the mountains to the fjords and everything in between. This experience is truly a must-do when visiting Queenstown. Highly recommended!

  I had the absolute pleasure of flying back with Glenorchy Air and the incredible (and hilarious) Rob. From the moment we stepped off the cruise, he was right there—making us feel calm (yes, the planes are small, but you’re in safe hands!) and keeping the energy light with his humor and knowledge. The flight back to Queenstown left me speechless. Jaw on the floor the entire way. The views were pure magic, and Rob’s commentary made the experience even more special. The photo opportunities, both in the air and when we landed, were just unreal. To top it off, everything was seamless right through to the taxi that dropped me back at my rental car. I cannot recommend Glenorchy Air enough it’s an absolute must-do. I’ll be raving about this flight forever!

  We opted for fly explore fly. Very friendly staff all round. Very informative commentary by pilot. Awesome views and lots to see in Milford. Thoroughly recommend this trip. Also pls add drinks service to flights as per pilot's instructions!!

  This was an experience of a lifetime and something anyone visiting Milford Sound should definitely do. Our pilot, Rob,made my family feel immediately comfortable. He was so pleasant, explained everything in detail and was extremely informative. We took the plane from Milford sound to Queenstown ending our trip in the most perfect way. The views from the plane were breathtaking and the entire experience was one of the best things I have ever done traveling.

  Having been to Milford Sound before via tours where you essentially arrive do a cruise and leave wanted some time to explore. After researching a number of operators we settled on Glenorchy Air as the had an explore tour and also every seat has a window, We were met promptly at the hotel and delivered right to the counter to check in. After about a 5 minute wait we sere separated into our aircraft groups (multiple planes go at the same time) from there we headed out to the aircraft. After a safety brief we boarded and headed off, we had clear skies and limited turbulence, a commentary is provided throughout the flight by the pilot, the landing was classified as ‘sporty’ which we enjoyed. Once we landed the others were loaded onto a bus for the cruise and we were given a brief of the surrounding area any the time to be back. We had a great time walking the area and checking out all of the sights. We met the pilot back at the airport where seats were shuffled so people got to see other views on the way back using a different route. I was lucky enough to be able to ride in the copilot seat. Special thanks to Joseph the pilot he was excellent with the service and information provided throughout! If you have the chance to fly with these guys take it you won’t be disappointed, noting it’s very remote so there is always a chance of weather getting in the way.   It was magical! The flight was top, The amazing view from start to finish we were amazed. A little course to do on a small trail too cute and always beautiful. Afterwards, the boat ride was impressive, the nature is so beautiful and breathtaking. Everything was so well organized. We had a lunch that was okay. It was a magical moment.   It's no secret that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but this trip goes beyond! Flying over mountain ranges, glaciers, and fjords before exploring the one and only Milford Sound by boat is sheer overwhelming. It's a clear "must do!". I'm not kidding because it's my third time!
