Our seated Premium Wine Tasting is fun and informative, while tasting some fabulous premium wines paired with a delicious cheese plate. Learn some of the tips and hints with wine etiquette.
Ivanhoe Wines is situated on 80 beautiful acres of estate and our cellar door is overlooking the vineyard. Your wine host is passionate and knowledgeable.
Our wines are not sold in bottle shops, which is more boutique and exclusive. We also offer premium engraving on our wines which can personalise our wines for birthdays and weddings.

What To Expect
Enjoy a fun and informative seated Wine tasting experience with accompanying cheese plate. Our friendly and knowledgeable team will help you find wines that you love. Allow 1 hour for the experience. Taste some of our white wines, then a bubbly and then our red wines. Please advise the time you would prefer on your booking. We'll do our best to secure this time for you and contact you on the number provided to confirm.

5.00The search for the Hunter Valley’s best reds ends at Ivanhoe Wines. 🍷 I’ve been a member since 2020 and can confidently say these are 'Best of the Best' wines. Whether it’s the iconic Prince of Thieves or my absolute favorite, The Jouster, the quality never lets you down. Huge shoutout to Lewis and the incredible staff who make every tasting a storytelling experience. You’ve spoiled us—no other vineyard compares. Looking forward to being back at the cellar door soon. 5.00Had an amazing experience at the recent wine tasting. The host, Danny, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He explained each wine with passion and made everyone feel comfortable asking questions, regardless of their level of wine knowledge. The atmosphere was relaxed, engaging, and well organised. You could genuinely tell Danny loves what he does, and that enthusiasm really elevated the tasting. Highly recommend this experience and would definitely attend again!

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ivanhoe Wines, thanks especially to Danny,. The wines were absolutely delicious—a wonderful range with something for every palate—and Danny’s knowledge, passion, and entertaining style made the entire tasting both fun and memorable. The winery itself boasts stunning views, creating the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of great wine and relaxation. We also enjoyed sampling some delicious local cheeses, which paired beautifully with the wines. We loved the experience so much that we purchased several lovely bottles to enjoy over summer. Highly, highly recommend a visit to Ivanhoe Wines Pokolbin.

5.00We had such a wonderful time at Ivanhoe Wines celebrating Ninang’s birthday! The view from the verandah was absolutely stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxed afternoon of wine tasting. The wines were really good, even though they’re only around three years young, and we genuinely enjoyed each pour. A special shoutout to Danny, our host, who was exceptional — knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel so well looked after the entire time. His passion for the wines and warm personality made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend visiting Ivanhoe Wines for the amazing wines, breathtaking verandah view, and outstanding service!

5.00Charming vinyard with picturesque views looking over the rose garden. vines, hills and mountains. Even better when you can take all this in while sitting on the back verandah sampling their wines and enjoying a cheese platter. We've been coming back for numerous years to the Hunter and this is our go to and why we became members on our first visit. Added to which the member discounts were better than most we've come across. Always enjoy the banter with Danny who looked after us.

5.00Ivanhoe is a favourite for us in the valley. The view always takes your breath away & the wines are amazing. It was the perfect day for the whites today, though the reds were yummy also. Today we were hosted by Danny. Such a fun & lively host who gave us a good laugh & made the afternoon more relaxing. We’ll be back, as we do every time we travel to the valley.
