Justin was an A+ guide. We met in the heart of downtown Houston where Justin walked us around the historic marketplace and old buildings. I didn't realize how many building survived in downtown Houston! We had a great slice of unique pizza in a quaint pizzeria, found an egg roll with a Texas twist in a basement food hall, enjoyed a fresh catfish po' boy, and ended with dang snappy ice cream on the rooftop of an old post office that offered a phenomenal view of downtown Houston.

We had a wonderful day exploring Houston with Justin. He shared history of Downtown Houston, explained some of the meaning behind the murals and took us to some amazing places to experience what Houston has to offer. Food tastings were generous. We were full but I’m glad we got to have some delicious ice cream to see a spectacular view of Houston. Thanks Justin for taking us around your home.

The food in downtown Houston was great. The guide explained the story of the city, food history and culture in a very friendly way. From Brisket Eggrolls, Tacos, Vietnamese Chicken-Rice to local ice cream - every tasting is a new taste experience. The walking distance was also comfortable, and the tour was enjoyable throughout. Would definitely recommend if you're new to Houston or a foodie traveler!
