We bought General Admission tickets + the Mission Control tour . Ordered tickets online easily. This made entering the museum and starting our tours and exploring more convenient. Had a great experience. Lots of fun. Recommended for all ages. Even if you aren’t a space fanatic you will still enjoy the space center and tours. Mission Control Tram tour was good. All the exhibits were great. My son’s favorite part of the tour was touching a moon rock. The tours and the exhibits are more of a history lesson and less about the future and innovations. A complaint I have is that the timing of the tours and shows don’t align well. We would have liked to do more but just couldn’t make it work out.

We visited Space Center Houston with our 5- and 6-year-old and had a great time overall, but I definitely recommend planning ahead. We arrived around 2 PM thinking a few hours would be enough, but it wasn’t. Many of the tram tours were already sold out, and we missed out on some experiences we were really interested in. If you go, get there early—you’ll need at least 4–5 hours to fully enjoy everything without feeling rushed. The kids loved the hands-on activity stations like making UV bracelets, coloring, and problem-solving games. Those were a big highlight. One thing to note: a lot of the “cool” experiences cost extra. General admission mostly covers walking through exhibits. Also, we’d skip the VR—it wasn’t worth the time or cost. Overall, highly recommend—just go in the morning and give yourself plenty of time.

Very interesting the place! Educational and curious. Various pieces of rockets and tours to visit. Some tours end soon, like the case of the tour in the command room. Have a piece of moon stone q vc can touch!!! worth the sight!

Who is not rating this 5 stars?!?!! Our entire family was fascinated (even my elementary aged kids) and the time passed so quickly. We spent 5+ hours and still didn't get to see everything. We did the park tram ride (free, tours depart every 10 minutes) and the historical tour (fee, must schedule in advance). I would have liked to do the training facility tour but only the last tour of the day had seats open and couldn't stay quite that long. Get in line immediately for tickets if you want to do this. My only complaint would be the parking is tight - the spaces themselves are fine but the rows are close together. We needed handicap parking and there were long vehicles in the row behind us, so leaving was tricky. If we hadn't needed handicap parking I would have parked further out and hopefully not been almost blocked in. But it wasn't a huge deal, just required a bit of patience.

It was worth going to once. The exhibits were spaced appropriately for flow. You could read everything without holding up the line. The plane outside was also cool. The gift shop was reasonably priced. Parking was average as it was crowded. The rain prevented the tram from going. Overall worth it.

You have to pay for parking, food is expensive (you could take a cooler and leave in your car). Great experience! Lots of interactive activities for kids of all ages to complete! Fun experience!
