Great tour with Layla would recommend very knowledgeable about Vietnam history. We were also lucky to see 2 trains on the train street with coffee and tea. Layla could not have been more helpful.

Sandy was a great tour guide, very personable, knowledgable and considerate! We loved our 1/2 day tour! We toured several key locations in Hanoi and Sandy explained the history and cultural significance of each area.

Our tour consisted of five adults and three children, and Max was our guide. He was wonderful. The only feedback I have is not about Max, but about the coordination between the tour company and the operators. It would be very helpful if guests were informed in advance about dress requirements for certain sites. For example, some sacred places and the mausoleum require that shorts must not be above the knee. Knowing this ahead of time would prevent guests from having to scramble to find something to cover their knees once they arrive. We were not able to see the mausoleum , because of this. Additionally, we requested an early start and I included this in my email, but I never received confirmation from the operators. I asked to begin at 9:00 a.m., yet I received an email from Viator instructing us to meet at 10:00 a.m. This created confusion, and we thought we were late, even though Max was already there at 9:00 a.m. This was not his fault—just a communication issue. Other than that, everything was great, and Max did an excellent job.

Our first visit to Hanoi went well with our charming guide, Sandy and driver Anh showing us the sights while reiterating the full history of each place we visited. The tour was well planned and organised that we were able to see two street trains this morning- what a treat. We are well travelled couple and we believe that a guided tour is a must for couples like us who would like to know more about the country’s history, present and future endeavours. Sandy was extremely eloquent and knowledgeable. My husband and I are grateful to you both for this amazing experience-

A great short time experience to get familiar with Hanoi city itself, major attraction and the people. Guide Kai and the driver were very professional, decent, and flexible to customize the tour as we wish. Overall it was a great experience.

This was an excellent 1 to 1 tour of the key sights of Hanoi, especially if you only have a short time in the city. Phuc was a brilliant guide, shared his knowledge and insights and happily answered all of my questions. The personal highlights for me were train street (and my 1st egg coffee) and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. The Hanoi traffic does slow transfer times down a bit but that is the same for everyone and is not a criticism of the tour or guide. I would highly recommend this tour.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Tommy. His knowledge of his country’s history was impressive and he made the morning really enjoyable. He followed up with recommendations of other places to visit and showed genuine interest and care. Would thoroughly recommend as a good intro to Hanoi.
