Located on a small island in the middle of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, dating back over 1,500 years. Explore the peaceful surroundings and learn about the history and significance of this ancient site.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The tour guide will take you to walk across the front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to take photos and learn about his history. We do not enter the Mausoleum, as the queue can take approximately 1.5 hours. After that, you may visit the One Pillar Pagoda if you wish.

James was an incredible guide, so full of energy and knowledge that made the tour incredible! We were able to customize the private tour since we had other things booked. He got us to train street just in time then introduced us to egg coffee and milk coffee. Highly recommend this tour for a brief introduction to Hanoi. Especially if you get James as your guide.

Our private tour guide, Peter, took us to the Tram Quoc Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoa Lo Prison and Train Street. It was an excellent city tour. I learned so much about the Vietnam war. Train Street was so much fun. The tour was so enjoyable I wished it was longer than 4 hours. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tine on our tour with Max and we saw so many cool sites around Hanoi that would not be practical doing on our own. Max and the driver ensured a very smooth experience and they adjusted to fit our needs. Highly recommend and ask for Max.

Peter was an excellent guide. Very flexible in adjusting to things I had already seen or didn’t want to see and added in worthy substitutes. The train street experience was fun and I am glad I went. I also appreciated his fast information on history and culture, which is my main interest. Also to have the driver pick us up and drop us off quickly and efficiently was a real plus. I highly recommend this tour.

Lovely tour & a great way to get to know thw city especially for first timers. Jennie (Trang) our guide was superb & made the tour all the more worthwhile. Explained sufficiently about the places we visited. Very considerate & always making sure we were happy with everything we did. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic private tour, Peter was an excellent guide and spoke great English. We visited lots of interesting places and Peter’s knowledge of the city and history was impressive. We moved around in a private car as well on foot. I would highly recommended this tour to anybody.

Great personalised tour with chauffeur and private guide - Sandy was amazing and managed to coordinate everything perfectly. Finished the tour with a free lemon tee at the street train. Very good day and plenty of memories.

We spent a half day with Max and a very good driver. Max was incredible with his expansive knowledge of history; sharing the right level of detail at each stop and mixing in a little humor along the way. His English is excellent so we could easily communicate. I have taken many tours across the globe and Max was tops. Request him.
