During this three-hour tour, you'll not only see the most iconic views of the NYC skyline from its promenade, but also enjoy five dishes from award-winning restaurants. The tour takes you through the brownstone-lined streets of Brooklyn Heights, to the cobblestone streets in Dumbo, and to a local beach with an amazing view of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.

5.00My guide, Benoit, was so informative and took me to some excellent food joints, the kind of places I wouldn't have thought to go to, left to my own devices. When visiting a foreign city it's important to make the right food choices, and this food tour truly delivered: excellent pizza, tasty bagels (and I'm not even a bagel person); and delicious soup dumplings.

5.00We had the best time with Gabby one Sunday afternoon showing us all the history of Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO areas! We ate our way through by tasting the best foods of the city! From Pizza to tacos and the big surprise, the best falafel we had ever tasted! Gabby was so easy to talk to and kept the adventure going into the sweet treats near the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour as it's just real. Just real NYC. One perk about being in Brooklyn was the fabulous views of the NYC skyline and Stature of LIberty. It's a must-do if visiting!
3 great tours, will definitely arrange with them again in the future.

5.00This was my third tour with funky tours in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The food was all absolutely excellent. The experience was excellent. The communication was great. Everything went smoothly. Gabbi is always a delightful guide. She brings a wealth of knowledge and is graded answering questions and being entertaining without being so boisterous that it draws a crowd and it can be distracting, which sometimes is the case with overzealous tour guides. All three tours have felt very intimate and connected, and even in incredibly loud crowded spaces, we always could hear one another end prioritize, the best sites and foods.

5.00I lucked out that the other group that should have been at the tour couldn’t attend so I got an amazing solo food tour from Gabby! She showed me around DUMBO and gave good facts about the architecture and bridges. All 5 food spots were great! Would recommend especially with this guide!

5.00Gabi was an excellent tour guide. She was knowledgeable, patient and a lot of fun to spend three hours with. She gave us information about the history of the Dumbo area of Brooklyn. The food we ate was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Great food tour through Brooklyn! Gabi our guide was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable about everything and kept things moving at a perfect pace. Many great photo spots along the way. Hard to pick a favorite food but the pancakes were definitely the most unexpected surprise - so good. Loved that it was private so everything was just for us. Would not hesitate to recommend.

5.00We joined the tour on September 13th and were pleasantly surprised to learn that there would just be the two of us, meaning we had a very personalised experience. Ben was the perfect host. He made the experience, with his vast knowledge of the area and the stories about each of the food we tasted along the way. We were fortunate that the weather was excellent and that made the walk all the more pleasant. Ben was more than willing to take photos of us in front of known landmarks and to give us the odd moment to ourselves to take in our surroundings. Onto the food. Five excellent dishes with Falafel, Pizza, Tacos, Blueberry pancakes, finished with ice cream. It’s hard to rate any above the other but personally the Pizza and the pancakes stood out although all dishes were beautiful and were ready on arrival meaning the tour remained within the suggested 3 hour timeframe. Overall a fantastic tour which we’d recommend to anyone. The dishes were spectacular and Ben was brilliant. 10/10.
