This tasting room was created to provide the ideal conditions for wine tasting, with natural light, a neutral-smelling environment, and a calm, elegant atmosphere.
The experience allows you to discover 10 French wines, each served with a thoughtful food pairing, seasonal cheeses and others.
Seated at a communal table, in an intimate setting of no more than ten guests, you’ll be guided by members of a Lyon wine tasting club, passionate and knowledgeable, sharing their insights.

What To Expect
Join us for a private or small-group wine masterclass in the heart of Lyon. Over four tasting stages, sparkling, whites, reds, and special ones, you’ll enjoy at least ten selected wines. Along the way, we’ll explore the history and present-day stories of the Beaujolais, Rhône Valley, Jura wine regions and other surprises. Each wine will be paired with French and local specialties such as artisanal cheeses, charcuteries, fresh fruits, and seasonal desserts for a truly gourmet experience.

5.00Hugo the the event co-ordinator is very knowledgeable and has books and maps to assist in his explanation of the wines that you taste in his new venue. He pairs the wines with an excellent assortment of Cheese and Charcuterie. The wines that you taste are from all over France and from different decades as well. All in all it was a great experience. The family and I loved the experience.

The lunch was delicious, featuring fresh local produce, and the whole day felt easygoing yet enriching. 4.00Hugo was very knowledgeable. He was very friendly and made the evening very enjoyable. The wine was excellent. We had a variety of wines and there was something for everyone. The cheese was also excellent. The only reason I did not give this experience a 5 star rating is because of the location. The location was upstairs at a closed cheese shop. There was no air conditioning and no windows, and it was a little dismal.

5.00Very knowledgeable Sommelier and a relaxed communication style. His choices of wine, including some incredibly aged vintages were the highlight (both in style and variety) - I drink a lot of French wine and yet, he was able to provide a new experience for my wine journey. The 89 white from Graves was exceptional!

You’ll get plenty of fun and friendly explanations and information as well as plenty of wine and cheese.

5.00Our wine and cheese pairing was fantastic. Hugo was so friendly and knowledgeable, he taught us about the different wine regions of France and how to distinguish differences in the wine. It was a very intimate setting, and the wines and cheeses were all delicious. 100% would recommend!
