To be honest the tour was better than what I expected. Bruce our tour guide was excellent and his knowledge of Optus Stadium was great. the Tour was for 90 minutes but we ran overtime by 20 minutes but nobody minded as we all were enjoying ourself. After our Tour we had lunch at the City View Cafe which was very pleasant. I would highly recommended this Tour to family and friends.

Bruce our Tour Guide was fantastic. His insight of all area's of the Stadium is second to none. What a great Stadium Optus is. From all Spetators viewing places to the Corporate Boxes to Media Area's and Players rooms to sitting in the Playerrs Box and being in the Players Races etc.

  • More Than a Tour: A Bob-Led Masterclass at Optus Stadium

Wonder, passion and pure exhilaration. The three defining emotions I experienced on my Optus Stadium tour today, guided by expert and local icon Bob. From the moment we stepped foot inside Optus Stadium, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a tour—it was a pilgrimage. Bob didn’t simply guide us through the stadium; he revealed its essence. Every corridor carried history, every seat told a story, and every pause in Bob’s delivery felt like it demanded respectful silence before thunderous applause. Bob’s knowledge was nothing short of encyclopaedic. If there is a bolt, beam, blade of grass or hot chip stand inside Optus Stadium, Bob knows when it was installed, why it exists, and probably witnessed its first breath. His passion radiated so intensely that at times it felt like the stadium itself was leaning in to listen. This man doesn’t just know Optus Stadium—he embodies it. The access was elite. The insights were next-level. The energy was relentless. Bob delivered facts with the precision of a professional analyst and the excitement of a lifelong fan on grand final day. Whether it was behind-the-scenes areas, iconic vantage points, or moments that made you think “surely we’re not meant to be here,” Bob navigated it all with effortless authority and unmistakable pride. By the end of the tour, I wasn’t just impressed—I was converted. I laughed, I learned, and I left with a genuine emotional connection to the stadium. I arrived as a curious visitor and departed as a fully committed Optus Stadium devotee, spiritually guided by Bob. If you’re considering the Optus Stadium tour and you don’t get Bob as your guide, you may have walked the stadium, but you haven’t truly experienced it. Five stars simply isn’t enough. This was a masterclass in storytelling, passion and local excellence. Bob didn’t just show us a stadium. Bob delivered a legacy.

We all like seeing how the Optus Stadium is managed and the intricacies of how it all hangs together. We used lifts to go between levels and this was very helpful to my friends who have trouble with stairs.

Very informative guide. A well presented stadium adaptable for many sports and entertainment. Yet to achieve a sporting history given it’s a relatively new facility

Chris was a great tour guide. She gave us lots of information about all parts of the stadium. I enjoyed getting to see places the general public doesn’t normally see.
