The ferry across to Rottnest was great. Coming back, the water was a bit rougher; definitely worth taking travel sickness meds if you suffer from sea sickness! (The Rottnest General Store had Travacalm Ginger; if you need something stronger, bring it with you!) On the bus tour, our driver (Simon) and tour guide (Holly) were excellent. She was a fount of information, and we learned many interesting facts about the island, its wildlife, and its history. And he … well, he drove (what more can be said?) but he got us there and back safely and comfortably! And my partner and I had somehow managed to go most of the day without seeing a quokka — so when we got to the end of the tour, Holly went out of her way to point out where to find them, and what to look for. Rottnest does have a bus service which allows you to get off and on at any stop (for a $30 day pass) and while that can be a great way to explore the island, this tour definitely provides extra value that is worth checking out. Thanks, Simon and Holly — and the assorted ferry crew!

Viatours excellent communication and punctual informative starts. ELI was excellent both on the Ferry and Bus with LARRY the Driver. Used this company all over the world, always found them good.

We had a wonderful trip to Rottnest Island and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The staff on board the boat were all lovely, the island was beautiful with golden sandy beaches and the restaurant we went to was also very good.

This was a well-organised tour, which combined a Swan River cruise with a trip to Rottnest Island. Both the ferry tour and island tour were informative and engaging. It was also great to have some free time to explore the island and get my quokka photos.

We had a fantastic sightseeing trip around Rottnest Island. A huge thank you to our guide, Eli, who was incredibly informative and gave a truly engaging presentation. Our driver, Larry, was highly professional and ensured a very safe and smooth ride, expertly navigating through all the bicycle tourists. Highly recommended!

Bus driver and Eli were both good - safe and knowledgeable. Tour itself is forgettable. I'd say not worth it. Importantly the bus had no air conditioning on a 32 degree C hot summer day. I almost passed out.

Bad experience booking with trip advisor, It wasn’t clear that the booking with USD not AUD, I surprised after I made the booking through my bank. The trip pick up time and the tour bus time not clear on the website, after I made the booking through my, I contacted them asking about the pickup time and they told me 4:30pm , I wasn’t happy about that at all.

Perfect day fron start to finish. Time went too quick. Ferry across was easy and not far before we got our bearings. Went on bus tour around the island where as many cycled. Guide was excelleny in his knowledge but being on the opposite side to where i was would have helped. After that we had plenty of time to explore. Once you saw one Quokka you saw loads so just be patient. I walked up to lighthouse which was a leisurly walk even in the sun. Highly recommended

Quokkas were a definite must see for me so really appreciated the plentiful opportunities to see them. Enjoyed the bus tour too. Malcolm was an excellent guide who certainly knew his stuff. However, it’s a long day if you’re travelling from Perth and only planning on the bus tour as you only have the option of one ferry each way.
